  • Publication number: 20120305421
Abstract: Methods of making and using a cost-saving mailer, as well as the inventive mailer are described. To qualify for the lowest-cost, automated mailing of discs (including CD, DVD and similarly sized objects), the mailing system has a mailer of cardboard sized to enclose a standard disc around which the cardboard is folded; and glue is placed in ribbons along the side edges of the cardboard to seal the side edges of the mailer and in two spots to stabilize the disc centrally in the mailer, the two spots being located away from the mailer opening and on either side of the enclosed disc, thereby preventing the disc from moving up and down or side to side after the disc is sealed within the mailer.
