    Abstract: The invention relates to an impeller machine with an aero rotor (14) for generating an air flow along an annular space (31) enclosed between an impeller housing (15) and a motor housing (19). The motor housing (19) is arranged in an inner chamber of the impeller housing (15), and an electric motor (16) is arranged in the interior of the motor housing (19). The electric motor (16) comprises a motor stator (44), which is connected to the motor housing (19), and a magnetic rotor (43), which is connected to the aero rotor (14). A cooling air channel (40) extends in the interior of the motor housing (19) between an inlet end (33) and an outlet end (35), and a liquid channel (46) has an opening (47) which is arranged in a cooling air channel (40) suction arranged upstream of the electric motor (16).
