  • Publication number: 20140143258
Abstract: One embodiment selects from a plurality of actions performed by one or more users of a social networking system a first action and one or more second actions, wherein each action has one or more attributes; computes a score for each second action by comparing the one or more attributes of each second action with the one or more attributes of the first action; ranks the one or more second actions according to the score computed for each second action; and selects from the one or more second actions one or more highest-ranking second actions as being related to the first action.

  • Publication number: 20130290430
Abstract: To generate stories for presentation to social networking system users, one or more story generation engines receives a set of actions of social networking system users. Various story generation engines output stories of different types that collect particular types of actions and arrange the actions in a specified format for presentation. The story generators may avoid selecting the same actions for different stories. Stories generated by the various story generators may be ranked and the ranking used to select stories for presentation to one or more social networking system users.

  • Publication number: 20120056706
Abstract: A wound transformer core is provided with at least one core loop made of a magnetic material. The transformer core includes multiple thin amorphous band-like iron sheets which are concentrically stacked around at least one center axis. A lower yoke section, an upper yoke section, and at least two limb sections are formed. The transformer core includes a modular plate-like support structure which is affixed upright to the center axis on both face sides of the lower yoke section and on both face sides of each limb section such that neighbored iron sheets are affixed together at their outer edge. The modular plate-like support structure includes, for each face side of the corresponding core sections, at least two plate-like modules, which are each connected to each other by a first or second plug-in connection.

  • Publication number: 20110272623
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispersion at least comprising particles comprising at least one magnetic iron oxide as component A and a solvent mixture as component B comprising (B1) 5% to 95% by weight of at least one water-miscible organic solvent LM as component B1 and (B2) 5% to 95% by weight of water as component B2, the sum of components B1 and B2 making 100% by weight, and to a method for producing a dispersion of this kind, comprising at least the steps (I) mixing particles comprising at least one magnetic iron oxide with at least one water-miscible organic solvent LM and water, (II) homogenizing the mixture from step (I), where a shearing energy of at least 2 kW/m3 is introduced into the mixture in step (II).
