  • Patent number: 8063335
Abstract: The gas exhaust comprises a generally cylindrical shaped casing closed by a bottom at one end and with openings to allow gas to escape. A duct is arranged in the casing to delimit a central passage inside the duct, and an annular passage surrounding the central passage outside the duct between it and the casing. There is a communication consisting of four holes in the duct close to the bottom to form a communication between the central passage inside the duct and the annular passage. The casing includes two diametrically opposite openings located in a horizontal plane.

  • Publication number: 20070241079
Abstract: A circuit breaker assembly includes a puffer chamber having a nozzle extending from an end, a vent located at or near the end of the puffer chamber, and a vent seal movably positioned over the vent. The vent seal prevents gas from escaping through the vent when the puffer chamber is under pressure, and it permits gas to enter the puffer chamber when the puffer chamber is not under pressure.

  • Publication number: 20070158310
Abstract: The gas exhaust comprises a generally cylindrical shaped casing (26) closed by a bottom (18, 22) at one end and with openings (30) to allow gas to escape. A duct (16) is arranged in the casing (26) to delimit a central passage inside the duct, and an annular passage (42) surrounding the central passage (40) outside the duct between it and the casing (26). There is a communication consisting of four holes (20) in the duct (16) close to the bottom (18) to form a communication between the central passage (40) inside the duct (16) and the annular passage (42). The casing (26) includes two diametrically opposite openings (30) located in a horizontal plane.

  • Publication number: 20070080144
Abstract: A gas mounting device is provided for a high voltage circuit breaker operable to be fitted integrally on one end of a tank of the circuit breaker, said mounting device being substantially a ring shape and comprising at least three identical machined entries through the bottom of the ring such that access is obtainable through the mounting device into the tank. The gas mounting device allows for a gas system to be installed in a three phase circuit breaker.
