  • Patent number: 12227238
Abstract: A track roller assembly for a work machine includes a track roller frame with drive and idler wheels and an endless track disposed about the wheels. Mid-rollers are located between the drive and idler wheels. Each mid-roller has a shaft mounted on a bogie frame and a pair of mid-roller hubs having roller wheels attached thereon mounted on the shaft, with one mid-roller hub and wheel on either side of the bogie frame. Each mid-roller hub has a guide facing the guide blocks. The track roller assembly has an alignment sensing mechanism to detect misalignment of the track. An adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust the alignment of the track in relation to the drive and idler wheels. A controller receives input from the sensor when the sensor paddle is moved to the misaligned position and causes the adjustment mechanism to adjust the alignment of the endless track belt.

  • Publication number: 20240331267
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for generating a cross-section of a 3D model are disclosed. An example method includes determining a cross-section plane intersecting the 3D model, performing ray-tracing by passing each of a plurality of rays through a corresponding pixel of a viewing plane such that each ray intersects the cross-section plane, determining one or more rays that are within a threshold distance of the 3D model at their respective points of intersection with the cross section plane, and highlighting pixels corresponding to the determined rays.

  • Publication number: 20230368157
Abstract: In general terms, this disclosure is directed to methods and systems for generating and verifying digital asset agreements. One aspect is a method for publishing a digital asset with an agreement, the method comprising receiving a digital asset, receiving inputs selecting terms for the agreement of the digital asset, the terms being in a natural language, translating the selected terms for the digital asset into a transaction protocol written in a transaction protocol language, compiling the transaction protocol into bytecode which can be published on a blockchain, publishing the bytecode on the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20230239971
Abstract: A system and method for providing warmth to a person, particularly a skier, in cold or inclement outdoor elements. Skiing is an outdoor winter sport where participants need to have proper clothing and equipment to stay warm in order to participate at optimal strength. Traveling on open-air lifts may cause skiers to become cold. The present disclosure provides a warming wrap that may be placed on a ski pole or other handheld device. A heating device integrated in the warming wrap transmits warmth through an outer layer whereas an insulating layer limits heat from escaping into the pole. The warming wrap contains a heating device that transmits heat from the heating layer to a person who touches the outer layer of the warming wrap. A grip layer alone or together with a fastener arrangement prevents the wrap from sliding down the pole. The preferred placement of the wrap on the pole rather than on a grip or in a glove or mitten provides the skier with better control and balance of the ski pole.

  • Publication number: 20120304062
Abstract: Improved techniques involve copying text occupying, within a browser application, a selected portion of a transcript associated with the content and, in response to the copying, augmenting the copied text with a direct link to the particular video frame from which particular spoken text begins within the video content. The particular spoken text begins within a particular text caption which corresponds to a timestamp, and the beginning of the copied text occupies the particular text caption. The augmenting of the copied text occurs before the copied text is placed within a buffer in memory reserved for copied data. The contents of the buffer then include the copied text and the direct link to the particular video frame.

Abstract: A gaming system may be operable to store a first set of operational rules for determining a first condition for a primary game, and a second set of operational rules for determining a second condition for a side game that is different from the primary game. Additionally, the system can be operable to randomly or pseudo-randomly generate a combination of graphical symbols in accordance with a play of a casino game and determine one or more first winning conditions or losing conditions for the first game by applying the first set of operational rules to the generated combination of graphical symbols. Further, when the side game is enabled, the system may be operable to determine one or more second winning conditions or losing conditions for the side game by applying the second set of operational rules to at least a portion of the generated combination of graphical symbols.

  • Patent number: 7004439
Abstract: A mounting bracket including an impact release mechanism for use in connection with helmet-mount lights and other devices. In one embodiment, the mounting bracket is a two-piece assembly comprising a base plate, an upright bracket configured to detach from the base plate upon a sufficient impact or force. In one embodiment, the impact release mechanism is configured to allow the upright bracket to break away from the base plate without affecting the subsequent utility of the mounting bracket. After the upright bracket detaches from the base plate, the mounting bracket can be reassembled by pressing the base plate and upright bracket together to engage the features associated with the impact release mechanism. Other embodiments of the present invention feature a one-use mounting bracket wherein the upright bracket is integrally formed to the base plate at predefined failure points that allow the upright bracket to break away from the base plate upon sufficient impact.
