Patent number: 11945850Abstract: The present invention relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2019Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: IMMATICS BIOTECHNOLOGIES GMBHInventors: Colette Song, Heiko Schuster, Daniel Johannes Kowalewski, Oliver Schoor, Jens Fritsche, Toni Weinschenk, Harpreet Singh

Publication number: 20240070202Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for assisting a user in advancing a task objective. The technique uses a suggestion-generating system (SGS) to provide one or more suggestions to a user in response to at least a last-submitted query provided by the user. The SGS may correspond to a classification-type or generative-type neural network. The SGS uses a machine-trained model that is trained using a multi-task training framework based on plural groups of training examples, which, in turn, are produced using different respective example-generating methods. One such example-generating method constructs a training example from queries in a search session. It operates by identifying the task-related intent the queries, and then identifying at least one sequence of queries in the search session that exhibits a coherent task-related intent. A training example is constructed based on queries in such a sequence.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Corby Louis ROSSET, Chenyan XIONG, Paul Nathan BENNETT, Saurabh Kumar TIWARY, Daniel Fernando CAMPOS, Xia SONG, Nicholas Eric CRASWELL

Publication number: 20210032411Abstract: A synthetic hydrogel is described, including hydrated mucin glycoproteins cross-linked with multi-arm thiol functional cross-linker, which can be prepared to model viscoelastic and micro-rheological properties of natural mucus. Such synthetic hydrogel can be prepared from a wide variety of mucin raw materials. Also described is a method of microrheologically characterizing mucus, by dispersing in the mucus muco-inert particles (MIP), irradiating the mucus containing MIP with polarized light, and measuring fluorescence polarization (FP) resulting from rotational diffusion of the MIP in the mucus in response to such irradiating, as a microrheological characteristic of the mucus. This method can be carried out using a plate reader equipped with a spectrofluorometer and polarized filter set, and therefore can be readily carried out in clinical settings without the necessity of specialized microrheological equipment.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 1, 2020Publication date: February 4, 2021Inventors: Gregg DUNCAN, Katherine Joyner, Bongsub Daniel Song, Robert Hawkins

Patent number: 10218293Abstract: A piezoelectric harvesting system using repulsion force, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a piezoelectric body comprising a piezoelectric material; a fixed portion to at least one surface of which the piezoelectric body is adhered; a support portion for supporting one side of the fixed portion; and a repulsion force-providing portion for providing repulsion force to the fixed portion, so that the piezoelectric body generates electric energy when the fixed portion is deformed due to application of external force and then recovered. According to one embodiment of the present invention, additional shock is applied to the fixed portion to which the piezoelectric body is adhered when recovering after being deformed, thereby increasing the amount of electric energy generated due to the deformation of the piezoelectric body.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2013Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Assignee: AMC ENERGY CO., LTD.Inventors: Tae Hyun Sung, Hyun Jun Jung, Ki Hwan Baek, Daniel Song, Chan Ho Yang

Patent number: 9965405Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a system comprising a processing unit executing an enumeration process over a high performance I/O network having endpoint locations that can be populated with endpoint devices. The system further comprises endpoint emulators to represent endpoint devices at endpoint locations unpopulated during the enumeration process. The system facilitates accessing certain endpoint devices later inserted (e.g., hot plugged) into the endpoint locations that were unpopulated during the enumeration process. The endpoint emulators can be implemented using various techniques, such as cards plugged into card slots coupled to the endpoint locations, or emulation software and/or firmware exposed to the processing unit. In an embodiment, the system is a test system for testing endpoint devices (e.g., PCIe SSDs), which test system can facilitate hot plugging of units under test in test slots that were unpopulated during the enumeration process.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2016Date of Patent: May 8, 2018Assignee: Ardent Storage, Inc.Inventors: Daniel Song Kim, Thomas Chang Han, Jeong Pyo Lee
