  • Patent number: 11400676
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a wood material panel pressing device for pressing a fibrous press cake in order to produce a wood material panel including an inspection device that is designed to emit a signal in the event of a disruption. According to the disclosure, the wood material panel pressing device for pressing a fibrous press cake for producing an HDF panel or an MDF panel includes: an inspection device, which is designed to emit a signal in an event of a disruption, wherein: the inspection device has a camera and an evaluation unit, the camera is arranged in an intake region of the wood material panel pressing device; and the evaluation unit automatically emits a signal in an event of a blow-out of press cake particles.

  • Patent number: 10525651
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a wood material panel pressing device for pressing a fibrous press cake in order to produce a wood material panel, including an inspection device that is designed to emit a signal in the event of a disruption. According to the disclosure, the inspection device has a camera and an evaluation unit, the camera is arranged in an intake region of the wood material panel pressing device and the evaluation unit is designed to automatically carry out a method featuring the steps: (i) continuous recording of images (B) of the intake region, (ii) continuous detection of measurement data for evaluation region pixels of images (B), which belong to a predefined evaluation region comprising at least one region bordering a target horizontal of the fibrous press cake at the top, such that evaluation data is obtained, and (iii) emission of a signal if the evaluation data changes by more than a predefined tolerance value (DT).

  • Patent number: 10442112
Abstract: A method for producing an engineered wood board. The method includes production of the substrate and application of a fluid to an application area of the substrate by means of an applicator, where the monitoring of the application occurs by means of an infra-red camera such that an inhomogeneity of the application can be detected.

  • Patent number: 9114577
Abstract: A method for wet gluing of wood fibers, which have been defibrated in a refiner from wood comminuted into chips, in order that these chips, following wet gluing in a gluing zone, can be dried in a dryer, then spread, in a spreading arrangement, to form a fiber mat and pressed, in a hot press, to form a wood-material panel. The wood fibers are transported into the gluing zone, within a conveying tube, in a stream of saturated steam. In order to calm the fiber stream, the conveying tube widens at the start of the gluing zone, within which a plurality of gluing nozzles are situated, as a result of which the speed of the fiber stream is reduced before the first gluing nozzle has been reached, the fibers in the calmed fiber stream are glued with adhesive by the gluing nozzles, and then are fed to the dryer.

  • Publication number: 20130233463
Abstract: A method for the wet gluing of wood fibres, which have been previously defibrated in a refiner (4) from wood comminuted into chips, in order that these chips, following the wet gluing in a gluing zone (BZ), can be dried in a dryer (5), then spread, in a spreading arrangement (6), to form a fibre mat and pressed, in a hot press (7), to form a wood-material panel of desired thickness, wherein the wood fibres are transported into the gluing zone (BZ), within a conveying tube (R), in a stream of saturated steam, is distinguished in that:—in order to calm the fibre stream, the conveying tube (R) widens at the start (A) of the gluing zone (BZ), within which a plurality of gluing nozzles (D1, D2, . . . Di, . . . , DL) are situated, as a result of which the speed of the fibre stream is reduced even before the first gluing nozzle D1 has been reached,—the fibres in the calmed fibre stream are glued with adhesive by means of the gluing nozzles (D1, D2, . . . Di, . . . DL), and then—are fed to the dryer (5).
