  • Publication number: 20240095264
Abstract: A map-based graphical user interface for a social media application displays to special social media activity information based on submission of geo-tagged social media items to the platform. For users and or submitted items that need predefined location fuzzing criteria, such activity is represented in the graphical user interface at an intentionally inaccurate position.

  • Publication number: 20240041318
Abstract: A method of evaluating the efficiency of a myopia control solution for a person. The method includes providing an initial value of a prolateness indicator of at least one eye of the person, determining a second value of the prolateness indicator of the at least one eye of the person after having the person use the myopia control solution over a given period of time, and evaluating the efficiency of the myopia control solution by comparing the evolution between the initial and second values of the prolateness indicator of the at least one eye with a value of reference.

  • Publication number: 20230301569
Abstract: This computer-implemented method for providing an automated prediction of a change of a state of fatigue of a subject carrying out a visual task involving any kind of visual content comprises: providing a plurality of input data, relating to the subject, to a fatigue state change predictive model, wherein the plurality of input data comprises at least one subjective measurement relating to the subject and/or at least one objective measurement relating to the subject and/or at least one other subject-related datum; obtaining, by a processor implementing the model, a value representing a level of change of the state of fatigue of the subject.

  • Patent number: 11650434
Abstract: An illumination system adapted for an eyewear that includes a light source configured to emit a first light including a power spectrum having full width at half maximum of less than 100 nm in a first range of wavelengths and a second light including a power spectrum having full width at half maximum of less than 100 nm in a second range of wavelengths, the power spectrum of the first light and the power spectrum of the second light differ from each other, and the light source is further configured to emit pulses of light with a pre-determined time function. The pre-determined time function comprises a plurality of packets, each packet of the plurality of packets being followed by a packet interval, and each packet including a pulse alternation between a pulse of the first light and a pulse of the second light.

  • Publication number: 20230141415
Abstract: An aspect of the disclosure relates to a method of determining an attitude of an eyewear. The method may include: detecting a light signal reflected from the eyewear with a digital device including a light sensor for a non-visible wavelength range; and calculating, using the light signal, an attitude of the eyewear. The attitude may be at least one of: a yaw angle, a pitch angle, a roll angle. A second aspect of the disclosure relates to an eyewear including at least a first lens. The first lens may include a first coating having reflection in the non-visible range of wavelengths. The first coating may further include a pattern with an orientation. A third aspect of the disclosure relates to a computer program product including instructions, which, when the program is executed by a digital device, causes the digital device to carry out the method.

  • Publication number: 20220137435
Abstract: An eyewear, including a first receptacle and a second receptacle; a first lens element received in the first receptacle; and a light sensor configured to detect incident light and provide a sensor signal based on the detected incident light. The eyewear further includes an analysis module. The analysis module is operably coupled to the light sensor to receive the sensor signal from the light sensor, and operably coupled to the variable optical filter structure to provide a control signal to the variable optical filter structure. The analysis module is configured to control the optical state of the variable optical filter structure thereby adjusting an illuminance ratio of light transmitted by the first lens element to light transmitted at a position of the second receptacle. Further provided is a method for adjusting a variable optical filter system for an eyewear, and a method and computer program for controlling the eyewear.

  • Publication number: 20210382327
Abstract: A method for determining a colored filter suitable for being applied to an ophthalmic lens to improve or maintain a wearer's visual comfort and/or the visual performance, includes: a) selecting source of light scattering to be placed in front of an eye of the individual based on the degree of scattering needed; b) visually presenting an image through the source of light scattering; c) measuring the individual's visual performance when image is visually presented through the source of light scattering; d) placing a colored filter in front of an eye of the wearer; e) visually presenting the same image of step b); f1) measuring the individual's visual performance again; g) comparing the individual's visual performance measured in step c) with the individual's visual performance measured in step f1); h) determining if the colored filter is a suitable colored filter based on the result of the comparison of step g).
