  • Publication number: 20240127968
Abstract: Herein disclosed are a methods and systems of SAMMI—a machine learning-based workflow that uses human annotations as labels for training models—used to predict human-based annotations for drug discovery. SAMMI receives an input to a model trained using human-annotated data, wherein the human-annotated data comprises at least one annotation associated with a triage-progressability annotation of whether to progress the input for the drug discovery. SAMMI also receives a set of features. The set of features are associated with the input, the model, and the triage-progressability of the input. The set of features is applied to the model to predict whether the input is triage-progressible. A model output is provided based on the prediction.

  • Patent number: 10676901
Abstract: An exemplary system for an interactive water supply management system for use in residential and commercial properties and a method of installation and use are provided. In the preferred embodiment is a system comprising a water consumption sensor capable of being externally mounted to a water meter, circuitry for the collection of water consumption data, a communication system allowing two way communication with a user and a water main valve shutoff. Remote vibration sensors on water pipes or acceleration sensors on manually articulated water valves provide feedback to the system to allow automatic identification of water consumed by each faucet or appliance. The communication system includes a means of two way communication through the manipulation of the water flow rate by the water shut off valve or by a user.

  • Publication number: 20070073704
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include information services, methods and systems to facilitate gathering and management of information by home users and professional users of information gathering, processing, and distribution services, and user interfaces through which users communicate with information services. In one embodiment of the present invention, a central information gathering, processing, and distribution service provides a simple, but robust and highly functional, interface to remote home users and professional users to allow the home users and professional users to continuously receive updated information gleaned from continuous searching of the Internet and other information sources by the information service. The interface allows users to define, refine, and stably store interests that define information searches continuously carried out, on behalf of the user, by the information gathering, processing, and distribution service.

  • Publication number: 20060162089
Abstract: A measuring device having a longitudinally extending polymer portion and a longitudinally extending metal portion secured to the polymer portion. The polymer portion may be molded over one longitudinal edge of the metal portion to thereby permanently secure the portions together. The measuring device may have a longitudinal balance axis disposed between a free edge of the metal portion and a free edge of the polymer portion. The balance axis can be disposed so that when the measuring device is placed on a page the metal portion free edge will contact the page and the polymer portion free edge will be raised. Alternatively, the balance axis can be disposed so that when the measuring device is placed on a page the metal portion free edge and the polymer portion free edge are raised above the page. Pressure on the metal portion will cause the metal portion free edge to contact the page while pressure on the polymer portion free edge will raise the metal portion free edge further off the page.

  • Publication number: 20060138145
Abstract: A child resistant, moveable closure member and container device having an overcap, and inner closure, and a container, which may have a non-round body. The overcap has opposed end walls and opposed sidewalls, with at least one leading locking pin and at least one trailing locking pin in at least one of said sidewalls. The inner closure may have at least one guiding bar, which extends downwardly from its lower surface, that is compatible in shape with an opening slot that may be in at least one of the sidewalls along the upper body of the container. The container further has a fixed cover portion facing the inner closure with a dispensing opening therethrough. At least one of the container sidewalls may have a closing notch, a stopping notch distal to the closing notch, and an opening notch therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20060041927
Abstract: A graphical user interface (“GUI”) for a content management system is provided, such as to present television program information and/or information associated with other forms of multimedia content. In some situations, the GUI displays various types of information about multiple pieces of content that are currently appropriate for display, and one or more users may make various types of selections that affect the information being displayed. In addition, in some situations various techniques are employed to maintain a state of the GUI that is focused on one or more current selections as changes occur, such as to coordinate information display between multiple distinct information panes or other view areas of the GUI, to alter the information to be displayed in the GUI based on a selected piece of content, and/or to enable identification of a selected piece of content from within a large number of pieces of content.

  • Publication number: 20060031880
Abstract: A graphical user interface (“GUI”) for a content management system is provided, such as to present television program information and/or information associated with other forms of multimedia content. In some situations, the GUI includes information presented simultaneously using at least first and second time scales, such as to provide relatively detailed information for content corresponding to a shorter time scale (e.g., to display television program listings with details about programs that are available during a time period at the shorter time scale) and to provide relatively limited information for content corresponding to a longer time scale (e.g., indications of other programs of potential interest at times outside the time period of the shorter time scale). In addition, in some situations the relatively limited information for content corresponding to the longer time scale may be selectable by the user to provide various functionality related to that content.
