  • Patent number: 11686472
Abstract: A powered secondary air supply ranger burner and method thereof provide an efficient burner with improved heat transfer. An atmospheric range burner controls a burner flame by insulating the burner and supplying a secondary air to the burner. The secondary air concentrates a heating zone to a center of a cooking vessel to be heated by the burner flame. The secondary air also controls a size and a shape of the burner flame.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2021
Date of Patent: June 27, 2023
    Assignee: GAS TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE
Inventors: Daniel Suchorabski, Michael Frank Johnson, Shawn Scott
  • Patent number: 11353238
Abstract: A system and method for the treatment and disposal of condensate, particularly acidic combustion condensate, are provided. A neutralizer connected with respect to a condensate flow can be used to treat the condensate flow to provide a supply of neutralized condensate to a transfer chamber. Neutralized condensate can be conveyed from the transfer chamber to an ultrasonic atomizer such as via capillary action by way of a wicking assembly. The ultrasonic atomizer is used to produce an atomized neutralized condensate that can be directly discharged or released at a controlled rate, decoupled from condensate generation, and appropriately disposed or utilized (e.g., humidification).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 2019
Date of Patent: June 7, 2022
    Assignee: GAS TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE
Inventors: Aleksandr Fridlyand, Daniel Suchorabski, Paul Glanville
