  • Patent number: 9961192
Abstract: An interactive contact workflow system provides a graphical representation of a contact workflow in a graphical user interface (GUI) of an interactive contact run-time environment. The interactive contact workflow system receives a request to load response data for a previously recorded interaction with the contact workflow, retrieves the response data from a data store of stored response data, and receives a request to execute a first instruction block of the contact workflow within the interactive contact run-time environment. The interactive contact workflow system then executes the first instruction block by providing the first audio prompt of the first instruction block to an audio output interface of the client device, and provides a response from the response data to the first instruction block as a response to the first audio prompt.

  • Publication number: 20180094516
Abstract: Angular position readings are obtained during rotation of an apparatus in a borehole, and angular rate readings are obtained over time of the rotation. The angular rate readings are adjusted based at least on the angular position readings. The angular position measurement does not require calibrated magnetometers or accelerometers to function. Additionally, a dynamic scale factor calculation for an angular rate gyroscope (ARG) allows the ARG to be used over a much wider operating range than without such a calculation. Finally, an integrated angular rate from the ARG calibrated for bias and scale factor fills in positional information between the magnetometers' zero crossings to deliver a high resolution hybrid angular position system capable of measuring precise angular position at high and irregular downhole rotation rates.

  • Patent number: 9887055
Abstract: Disclosed herein are efficient mechanical fuse devices that are capable of functioning at high current levels. These devices comprise mechanical features configured such that the fuse devices have a non-triggered state, which allows current to flow through the device, and a triggered state, which does not allow current to flow through the device. In some embodiments, the devices are configured such that a certain pre-determined current level flowing through the device will generate a sufficient electromagnetic field to cause the mechanical elements to transition the fuse device into the triggered state and thus interrupt a connected electrical circuit, device or system. In some embodiments, these devices can also comprise hermetically sealed components.

  • Publication number: 20170245196
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a call routing application. Routes are evaluated according to selection scores of call routes. The selection scores are calculated based on weighted call quality data corresponding to past calls on the call routes. A call route is selected according to an evaluation including call costs or other criteria. A call is then routed via the selected call route to the call endpoint.

  • Patent number: 9736253
Abstract: For an online community advocacy management platform, the techniques herein create “ghost profiles” of users not registered with the app/plug-in, but that are participating in the social media forum (an identification phase). In this manner, all participants may build their advocacy score regardless of the app/plug-in, which may be useful for the user if later deciding to participate officially, or else for the brand to continue to be able to monitor anonymous (yet uniquely identified) activity on an individual basis, and to identify, quantify, and foster the most valuable and influential advocates within the existing community.

  • Patent number: 9654575
Abstract: In one embodiment, a first server receives a webpage request for a first webpage address of a first webpage served by the first server. The first webpage address is associated with a second webpage served by a second server. The first server includes tracking code within data for the first webpage to record webpage transaction information for the client device. The first server includes a timer function for the tracking code in the data for the first webpage. The first server provides the data for the first webpage to the client device that includes the tracking code and the timer function. The timer function causes the client device to render the second webpage in response to the tracking code receiving a successful tracking status notification or in response to the tracking code not receiving a successful tracking status notification within a threshold amount of time.

  • Publication number: 20170080286
Abstract: A sports performance data chip includes a striking implement that may be utilized for athletic purposes. A projectile is provided that may be utilized for athletic purposes. A base unit is positioned within the striking implement. Thus, the base unit detects and records motion of the striking implement when the striking implement is swung. A remote unit is positioned within the projectile. Thus, the remote unit detects and records motion of the projectile when the projectile is struck with the striking implement.

  • Patent number: 9473584
Abstract: For an online community advocacy management platform, the techniques herein intelligently provide mechanisms and user interfaces for filtering (triaging) the view of comments and content based on advocate levels, trend rates, consumer participation, hot topics, recent activity, etc. by gauging the likelihood of user-generated actions to cause future influence based on their algorithmic similarities to historically influential actions, and weighted based on an aggregate, compounding history of individuals throughout time.

  • Patent number: 9384270
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system for associating user accounts with source identifiers included in communication requests received from users of those user accounts and using that information to later identify potential user accounts. For example, when a user contacts a support network, such as a call center, the source identifier (e.g., telephone number) may be identified. Once the user initiating the communication request is verified and the corresponding user account identified, the source identifier may be associated with the identified user account. By establishing and storing a relationship between the source identifier and the verified user account, if the user later again initiates a communication request that includes the same source identifier, that user's user account may be quickly identified to the agent, thereby simplifying verification.

  • Patent number: 9385089
Abstract: When opaque films are deposited on semi-conductor wafers, underlying alignment marks may be concealed. The re-exposure of such alignment marks is one source of resulting surface topography. In accordance with one implementation, alignment marks embedded in a wafer may be exposed by removing material from one or more layers and by replacing such material with a transparent material. In accordance with another implementation, the amount of material removed in an alignment mark recovery process may be mitigated by selectively ashing or etching above a stop layer.

  • Publication number: 20160057647
Abstract: In a radio device, an automatic repeat request circuit communicates data messages to remote radio devices at selected data rates. Responses to the data messages are collected and statistics developed about success rates of the data messages at the selected data rates. A current data rate is selected based on the statistics and a packet is transmitted. The data rate can be adapted using the statistics about success rates of the data messages.
