    Abstract: There is described a method of determining whether a fraud claim initiated by a client is legitimate. The method is performed by one or more processors. A fraud claim is received from the client. The fraud claim is in respect of a potentially fraudulent transaction associated with the client. Client data associated with the client is retrieved. The client data includes data relating to historical financial transactions associated with the client. Based on the data relating to the historical financial transactions associated with the client, and based on one or more parameters of the potentially fraudulent transaction, a fraud score associated with the fraud claim is determined. Based on the fraud score, a determination is made as to whether the fraud claim is legitimate.
