  • Patent number: 9603397
Abstract: An improved head harness is disclosed for use with full face respirators. The head harness may include an elastomeric core having a central portion and a plurality of radiating arms. The plurality of radiating arms may be connected to a plurality of non-elastic straps. A fabric cover may completely enclose the elastomeric core, including the plurality of radiating arms. The cover may include a plurality of openings corresponding to the plurality of straps, so that when assembled, only the straps protrude from the openings. As described, the elastomeric core and elastomeric radiating arms are separated from a user's hair by the fabric cover. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 5855272
Abstract: A media storage container has a body portion, a lid, and an injection valve which enables the injection of a protective atmosphere into the interior of the container from outside the container. A vent enables the escape of atmosphere from within the container when the protective atmosphere is injected into the container at a pressure higher than the ambient atmosphere outside the container. Co-acting first formations on the body portion and lid constitute a cam closure mechanism in which, in a first position, the lid is a loose, unsealed fit on the body portion enabling venting of the container while continuing to inject protective atmosphere to allow the inside of the container to be purged, and in a second position the camming action of the closure mechanism seals the lid to the body portion to enable the cavity to be pressurized.

  • Patent number: 5343624
Abstract: A measurement tool adapted for measuring surfaces of a known desired curvature and specifically grooves, holes, chips, gouges, chafing and/or out of round areas therein. The measurement device is constructed with an attachment member having a curvature matching the "set up" curvature of the part to be measured. The measuring member or probe, is sharpened to permit it to extend through an aperture formed in the attachment member for facilitating its initial setting relative to the attachment member and the surface to be measured. Any movement of the probe during measurement is then a manifestation of a deviation from the original "set up" curvature.
