  • Publication number: 20090255629
Abstract: A fluid ejection device, including a substrate carrier having a substrate receiving-surface, and a substrate having at least one fluid ejector actuator disposed on the substrate. In addition the fluid ejection device includes a one-part adhesive disposed between the substrate and the substrate-receiving-surface. The one-part adhesive is an epoxy resin having a polyglycidyl ether of a polyhydric phenol, a solid cylcoaliphatic amine curing agent.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 21, 2009
    Publication date: October 15, 2009
Inventors: Lawrence E. Gibson, Daniel T. Pogany, Hsin-Chieh Chou
  • Patent number: 7581828
Abstract: A fluid ejection cartridge, including a substrate carrier having a substrate receiving surface, and a substrate having at least one fluid ejector actuator disposed on the substrate. In addition the fluid ejection cartridge includes a two-part adhesive disposed between the substrate and the substrate receiving surface. The two-part adhesive is an epoxy resin having a polyglycidyl ether of a polyhydric phenol, and a hardener having a cylcoaliphatic polyamine.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 27, 2006
Date of Patent: September 1, 2009
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.

  • Patent number: 6366795
Abstract: An electrolyte (70) for use in a single-use biomedical electrode assembly (A, B, C, D) designed for receiving body-generated electrical signals at a patient's skin surface includes: Component Range (%) Skin penetration agent 10-25  Thickener 0-10 Alkali metal or alkaline earth 1-13 metal chloride Alkali metal or alkali earth 1-13 metal nitrate Surfactant 0.001-5    Soluble silver salt, as silver   0-0.01 Buffer 0-10 Water Q.S. The skin penetration agent improves penetration of the outer, dead skin layers by the electrolyte, thereby improving pickup of minute electrical signals generated within the patient's body. A preferred skin penetration agent includes sodium 2-pyrrolidone-5 carboxylate at a concentration of 15-20% by weight of the electrolyte composition.

  • Patent number: 5323993
Abstract: A molded plastic load-bearing support device with an adhesive coated fabric backing member is disclosed. The fabric backing member is adhesive coated so that the molded plastic, load-bearing support device will adhere to a surface. The fabric backing member is integrally associated with the molded plastic load-bearing support device. The adhesive coating at least partially penetrates the surface of the fabric backing member.
