  • Publication number: 20240322329
Abstract: A battery pack includes an enclosure defining an enclosure interior, a stack of battery cells disposed in the enclosure interior between a first wall of the enclosure and a second wall of the enclosure, and a side beam extending from the first wall to the second wall and adjacent to the stack of battery cells. • Publication number: 20230398826
Abstract: A tuned mass damper includes a damper mass having a first mass portion and a second mass portion connected by a third mass portion. The first mass portion, the second mass portion, and the third mass portion form a U-shaped configuration of the damper mass. The damper mass is configured to separate within the third mass portion in response to a force transferred to the damper mass of the tuned mass damper to allow relative motion between the first mass portion and the second mass portion. The damper mass may include geometric features that promote rotation of the tuned mass damper relative to an axis, when subjected to impact loads.

  • Patent number: 7096614
Abstract: A military flat ribbon assembly includes a plurality of discrete military ribbons each including a base panel having a rear surface with one or more pegs extending therefrom. The assembly also includes a blank sheet having a rear surface and front surface with a plurality of apertures positioned thereon. The apertures are dimensioned and positioned so as to receive the pegs on the ribbon base panel. As military ribbons are earned, a user can attach them to a blank and cut any excess portion thereof. Pins on the rear surface of the blank allow it to be quickly and easily fastened to a military uniform. As additional ribbons are earned, the existing ribbons along with the new ribbons are attached to a new blank which is cut and attached to the uniform as described above. The pegs and blank sheet can be magnetized.
