Abstract: A carton includes a first main body panel spaced from a second main body panel by first and second side panels and connected to the second main body panel by a connector strip. With the removal of a tear strip, the connector strip releases a cover of the first main body panel enabling an access opening to an internal storage region to be exposed. To close the carton, a lower top flap of the second main body is pivoted across the access opening, automatically causing multiple flap extensions of the side panels to fold beneath the lower top flap. Thereafter, the cover is pivot atop the lower top flap and a tab of the cover is received in a slot formed at a juncture of the lower top flap and a remainder of the second main body panel.

The flavorant container can be retained by a beverage system to dispense flavorant, which can be mixed with carbonated and/or uncarbonated water. In one embodiment, the flavorant container includes a container, a cap, and one or more features located on the cap. The features can include an inlet that is able to receive pressurized air, and an outlet that is able to dispense a flavorant when the inlet receives the pressurized air. The features can also include at least one raised protrusion that is capable of being retained by a complimentary pattern located on a beverage system in order to properly seat the flavorant container in the beverage system.

Abstract: A beverage dispensing device and methods for dispensing beverages are provided. In one embodiment, the beverage dispensing device includes a housing, a carbonation assembly, a carriage assembly, and one or more flavorant containers. The beverage dispensing device can also include a controller with a UI to allow a user to customize aspects of a beverage. These customizable aspects can include fluid volume, carbonation level, flavorant type, and/or flavorant amount. Based on the customized aspects of the beverage, the beverage dispensing device can dispense an amount of carbonated or uncarbonated water, and can dispense a type and amount of flavorant. Illustrative embodiments of flavorant containers are also provided.

The container may define an interior configured to receive the plurality of food items. The container can include a bottom portion and opposing first and second sidewalls forming a plurality of support portions configured to support the plurality of food items independent from one another. The support portions each include a support surface extending upward along at least a portion of the first and second sidewalls and across the bottom portion.
