  • Publication number: 20240249639
Abstract: Aircraft simulation yokes, and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A representative system includes a yoke handle, and an anchoring device operably connected to the yoke handle. The anchoring device includes a first linkage pivotably coupled to a first section of the yoke handle, a second linkage pivotably coupled to a second section of the yoke handle, and a connector coupled to the first linkage and the second linkage. When the yoke handle is pushed or pulled, a translational movement of one of the linkages is greater than a translational movement of the other linkage such that the yoke handle tilts about a rotation axis offset from the yoke handle.

  • Patent number: 11704952
Abstract: A method for operating an adaptive gateline may include detecting a patron approaching a gateline. The method may include determining whether the gateline should be operated in a standard mode or in a modified mode based at least in part on data from one or more sensors. The method may include operating the gateline in the standard mode or in the modified mode based on the determination. In the modified mode a barrier of the gateline operates to provide one or both of extra time or additional space for the patron to pass through the gateline relative to the standard mode.

  • Publication number: 20220275715
Abstract: The invention relates to a steam generator tool configured to receive a supply of fuel, oxidant, water and power/control, and therefrom, to combust the fuel and generate steam from the water. The tool can be used downhole or on surface. The tool includes a tool coupling component configured to receive inputs of water, fuel, oxidant and power/control; a flow diversion component coupled to the coupling component and which directs the inputs into the tool; and an ignition component configured to ignite the fuel to produce a flame. Tool further includes a combustion chamber configured to accommodate the flame; and a plurality of water nozzle on the external surface of the tool configured to eject water onto the outer surface of the combustion chamber, the water being converted to steam during operation of the tool. The tool coupling component forms a first, which may be considered the upper end of the steam generator tool and the combustion chamber is at the second, opposite end of the tool.
