  • Patent number: 10235641
Abstract: A reservation system is disclosed. The system comprises a communication means for receiving, from a remote device, an availability request for a product or service; sending, to the device, a first ordered list element data representing a distribution of a plurality of different products or services within a map in response to receiving the request; and for receiving, from the remote device, a reservation request for one of the plurality of different products or services.

Assignee: SITA INFORMATION NETWORKING COMPUTING IRELAND LIMITED
    Inventor: Daniel Tomos Godber
  • Patent number: 4671918
Abstract: An apparatus and process for the extrusion of linear low density polyolefins. The apparatus comprises an extruder die including a cylindrically shaped central opening; and a die pin held within the central opening and forming, with the extruder die, an extrusion inlet and an extrusion outlet. The extruder die and the die pin also form a relaxation zone to receive a polyolefin conducted through the extrusion inlet and to relieve stresses in the polyolefin; a compression zone to receive the polyolefin from the relaxation zone and to compress the polyolefin into a tubular shaped film; and a stabilization zone to receive the polyolefin from the compression zone, to stabilize the shape of the tubular film, and to conduct the tubular film to the extrusion outlet.

Inventors: Daniel Tomo, Robert E. Denbo
  • Patent number: 4049147
Abstract: A method of producing a lightweight, strong, uniform, foamed layer containing tubular film with good opacity which can be heat-shrunk onto an annular substrate such as a glass bottle rapidly and uniformly is accomplished by co-extruding a low density polyethylene and a mixture of an ethylene polymer and a blowing agent under particular conditions and causing the blowing agent to decompose thereby foaming the ethylene polymer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 7, 1977
Date of Patent: September 20, 1977
Assignee: National Distillers and Chemical Corporation
Inventors: Claude J. Stiles, Daniel Tomo

  • Patent number: 3985257
Abstract: An industrial sized drum that may be blow-molded of polyethylene is constructed with integrally formed rolling hoops, a domed top having an interrupted chime of generally arcuate cross-section undercut on its interior side, necks extending upward from a pair of diametrically opposed bungholes, symmetrically disposed dimples in the drum top adjacent these necks to maintain ovalization. The necks are formed to facilitate crimp-type securement of closures by crimp-type techniques. The drum bottom is formed with a chime and a sump pad aligned with one of the bungholes.

Inventors: James B. Shaffer, Daniel Tomo, Chester Strohecker
  • Patent number: 3939967
Abstract: A molded two-part moisture and shock proof container produced from polymeric material intended for the packaging, storage and shipment of projectiles. Each half of the container has a substantially cylindrical configuration with an enlarged open mouth and the exterior surfaces include uniformly spaced longitudinally extending ribs; one half is exteriorly threaded adjacent the open mouth thereof for threaded engagement within the interiorly threaded portion of the mating half of the container. A novel method of exterior banding is provided so that assemblies of multiple containers may be produced. The top and bottom surfaces of the container are provided with concentric annular ribs for the reception of a disengaging tool to permit convenient separation of the container halves.
