  • Publication number: 20240106714
Abstract: A network discovery method includes: sending, by a master node in a logical root hierarchy level of a data network, a discovery message including a forwarding counter to a first slave node in the data network first logical hierarchy level via a child port; increasing, by the first neighboring slave node, the forwarding counter; forwarding the discovery message with the increased forwarding counter to a second slave node in the first logical hierarchy level; receiving, by the first and second slave nodes, context information from the master node regarding the identities of the master node and the child port; determining, by the first and second slave nodes, its own functional designation based on the forwarding counter and the received context information by comparison with a mapping table; and updating the mapping table by matching the recorded functional designation in the mapping table with the first and slave node identities.

  • Publication number: 20240099624
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for draining and analyzing bodily fluids, pressures and assessing health are described where a drainage system generally comprises an elongate catheter having a first end and at least one opening in fluid communication with a catheter lumen, a drainage tube having a drainage lumen in fluid communication with a second end of the catheter, a fluid reservoir in fluid communication with the drainage lumen, and a pressure sensing membrane in communication with a pressure lumen defined through the catheter. The system also includes a pressure sensor coupled to the pressure lumen and configured to receive an intra-abdominal pressure signal from the pressure sensing membrane via the pressure lumen, and a controller in communication with the fluid reservoir and the pressure sensor. The controller is configured to determine an abdominal perfusion pressure based on the intra-abdominal pressure and a mean arterial pressure received by the controller.

  • Publication number: 20210108740
Abstract: Provided is a microtrencher having a utility avoidance system that detects objects buried under the roadway, identifies whether the buried object is a utility and determines whether the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel. If the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel, an alert is sent to the operator, the vehicle is stopped, and/or the cutting wheel is raised in relation to the roadway. Also provided is a method of using the microtrencher to cut a microtrench in a roadway and to avoid cutting a buried utility in the path of the cutting wheel.
