Abstract: A marking pen having a deformable tip, and adapted to apply ink or the like to a surface in a stroke of uniform width. The deformable tip has a pocket or recess in its marking surface, that allows a leading edge of the tip that is applied to a surface to be marked, to remain substantially a straight line during the marking stroke, rather than curling at its edges and producing a stroke of lesser width. A scraping blade is also provided carried by the pen, preferably by a cap for the pen, and can have barbs that securely engage it in a recess of the pen or cap for the pen. The invention is particularly useful in marking numbered zones of lottery cards, and in scraping away opaque layers for instant lottery cards or tickets.

Abstract: A tooth storage means comprising a body having an upper section and a lower section, the upper section of the body having a downwardly extending portion providing a plurality of tooth elements corresponding to the upper teeth of a subject and the lower section of the body having an upwardly extending portion providing a plurality of tooth elements corresponding to the lower teeth of the subject. Each of the tooth elements has a receptacle cavity therein for receiving, storing and completely enclosing a corresponding individual tooth of the subject. The upper and lower tooth elements each have an appearance, arrangement and configuration corresponding to and simulating the upper and lower teeth of the subject and are of a transparent material allowing the display and viewing therethrough of the teeth of the subject received within respective cavities of the booth elements.

Abstract: A lockable switch for an electric cord comprising a housing, a switch having "on" and "off" positions retained within the housing and having a control operative from outside the housing for moving the switch between its "on" and "off" positions, and terminals for electrically engaging and connecting the switch with an electric cord received within and extending through the housing. A key-actuated lock having locked and unlocked conditions, and an interengagement device actuated by the lock for engaging the switch and locking the switch against movement when the lock is in its locked condition are also contained within the housing. The lock which is rotatable has a cam element provided by an extending tumbler which rotates with the actuation of the lock between its locked and unlocked conditions and actuates the interengaging device toward and away from the switch for engaging and disengaging the control and locking and unlocking the switch.
