  • Publication number: 20170043206
Abstract: This is an exercise device that sits on the floor used for sit-ups/crunches and core body exercise twists. Handles affixed to the stationary base plate of the device allow user to grasp and pull up body for easier, modified crunches/sit-ups, as well as to turn the body to the right and left on a rotatable seat plate during abdominal twist exercises. The seat of the device rotates on a fixed axis pin or be secured on its perimeter in a manner to still allow rotation. An optional waist/knee strap-belt secured to the stationary base plate allows the user to anchor his body down while exercise allowing greater leverage to lift body weight and/or external weights while and reducing unwanted leg lift. The device also has optional front and lumbar cushion support. The device is small enough to easily carry to gym or on trips.

  • Publication number: 20170043205
Abstract: A wrist-grip exercise device is disclosed comprising two partial spheroids interconnected by an elastic central bridge, which partial spheroids may be rotatable axially 90 degrees in opposite directions around a longitudinal axis under the force, with each partial spheroid acting as a graspable handle. In some embodiments the partial spheroids are in the shape of hemispheres. The elastic bridge provides resistance to facilitate exercise and power to return the device to its original shape after being twisted and contorted during use. The elastic central bridge may be an elastomeric polymer material interconnecting the two partial spheroids. In other embodiments the central bridge is a coil spring. In some embodiments the handles are inflatable to facilitate compression grip exercises. In some embodiments the handles are attached to the coil spring by male-female connection system. Another embodiment of the present invention substitutes polyhedrons for the two partial spheroids.
