  • Patent number: 12248933
Abstract: A computer system for provisioning a data transfer method is disclosed, comprising a processor, and a communications module and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computer system to: receive a provisioning request for a data transfer method; send, to a server associated with the data transfer method, a request, based on the provisioning request, for assignment of a data transfer identifier; receive, from the server, the data transfer identifier responsive to the request for assignment of the data transfer identifier; obtain a data transfer token corresponding to the data transfer identifier by: sending, to a token service provider, a request for the token comprising the data transfer identifier; receiving, from the token service provider, a data transfer token in response to the request for the token; and, send a reply to the provisioning request comprising the token.

  • Patent number: 12206657
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing a multi-cloud control plane (MCCP) in a first cloud infrastructure (included in a first cloud environment provided by a first cloud services provider) that enables services and/or resources provided in the first cloud infrastructure to be utilized by users of a second cloud environment. The first cloud infrastructure receives a request from a user associated with an account in the second cloud infrastructure. The request corresponding to using a service provided by the first cloud infrastructure. A tenancy is created for the user in the first cloud infrastructure to enable the user to utilize the service, and a link-resource object is created that includes information linking the tenancy of the user in the first cloud infrastructure to the account of the user in the second cloud infrastructure, the link-resource object enabling the user to utilize the service provided by the first cloud infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 12201397
Abstract: The invention may be applied to selectively heat a diseased area in the lung while minimizing heating to the healthy area and surrounding tissue. This can be done by exposing the lung to an electromagnetic field causing dielectric or eddy current heating. The invention is particularly useful for treating emphysema as the diseased areas in emphysema patients have reduced blood flow. The diseased area will heat up rapidly while the healthy tissue will be cooled by the blood flow. This is particularly effective for treating emphysema because of the low mass of the lungs and the high blood flow. To avoid heating of surrounding organs the direction of the electromagnetic energy may be switched in a way it always passes through lungs but only intermittently passes through adjacent organs.

  • Patent number: 11847680
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for presenting attribute variations (differing attribute values) of an item at a network page. A request for the network page associated with an item of an electronic catalog can be received. In response to the request, the network page can be presented. The content and/or format of the network page can be predefined by an interface specification associated with the item and/or item category for the item. The network page may include a first area that includes an expanded view in which one or more variations of the first attribute are depicted and any suitable number of collapsed views in which one or more variations associated with a respective attribute are hidden from view. The areas of the network page may be dynamically expanded and collapsed to enable selection of various attribute values which may then be used to update the network page.

  • Publication number: 20230257251
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a water dispensing lamp (WDL). In an illustrative example, the WDL may include a base module disposed on a horizontal plane, and a fluid dispensing stem coupled above the horizontal plane along a vertical axis. The fluid dispensing stem, for example, may include an electrical pump and a dispensing element. For example, the electrical pump may be configured to pump fluid out of the dispensing element towards the base module. In some implementations, the WDL may include a lamp shade coupled to the fluid dispensing stem. Various embodiments may advantageously conceal the dispensing element by the lamp shade unless a viewing angle between the horizontal plane and a viewing axis is larger than a predetermined viewing angle threshold.
