Abstract: A system for protecting a head lamp of a motor vehicle includes at least one headlamp protector device. The at least one headlamp protector device is adapted to be coupled to a bumper beam and adapted to be coupled to a crush can. The at least one headlamp protector device extends beyond the end of the bumper beam to protect the head lamp during an impact event.

Abstract: A vehicle body includes an underbody having one or more underbody bolting flanges attached thereto, with each underbody bolting flange being adapted for bolted attachment to a mating bodyside bolting flange. Left and right bodyside subassemblies are joined to the underbody, with each bodyside including a supplemental bodyside support structure having attached thereto one or more bodyside bolting flanges, with each bodyside bolting flange being adapted for bolted attachment to one of the underbody bolting flanges after the bodyside subassemblies are otherwise joined to the underbody. The underbody bolting flanges are attached to supplemental cross members that are attached to and extend across the underbody.

Abstract: A roof system that allows the roofing style of a vehicle to be changed. The roof system includes a steel body-in-white roof body that is bonded with a composite frame via an adhesive. A mechanical latching arrangement is arranged on a removable composite roof panel. The mechanical latching arrangement allows the removable composite roof panel to be attached to and to be detached from the composite frame. The composite frame includes a water seal that seals to the removable composite roof panel.
