  • Patent number: 8011385
Abstract: A valve assembly is provided that has a valve body defining first and second valve seats and a fluid chamber between the valve seats. The valve assembly includes a first valve that has an extension portion and a plug portion. The plug portion is configured to be selectively seated at the first valve seat. The extension portion is configured to extend within the fluid chamber past the second valve seat when the plug portion is seated at the first valve seat. A second valve is configured to interfit with the extension portion to connect to the first valve for common movement therewith. The second valve is configured to be selectively seated at the second valve seat. Fluid flow through the fluid chamber past the valve seats is controlled by the common movement of the connected first and second valves.

  • Patent number: 7902954
Abstract: A dual sided connector block for a solenoid is provided which may be used in multiple designs. The dual sided connector block includes a base, a first terminal insertion slot on a first side of the base, a second terminal insertion slot on the second side of the base, a tie-off post, and a magnet wire. The magnet wire is operatively configured as a solenoid coil and is routed inside of the base and wound around the tie off post. The magnet wire is accessible to a connector blade inserted through either the first terminal insertion slot or the second terminal insertion slot.

  • Patent number: 7777603
Abstract: An armature for a solenoid assembly is disclosed. The armature includes a first portion, a second portion, and a fin. The first portion has a first axial length and a first diameter, and the first portion is configured for operative connection with a pole piece. The second portion has a second axial length and a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter. The fin extends radially from the second portion and has an axial length that is less than the axial length of the second portion. A solenoid assembly is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100155510
Abstract: A nozzle extending along an axis is provided, including an orifice portion, an exit and a trumpet portion. The orifice portion includes an orifice dimension that is generally perpendicular to the axis. The exit allows for a fluid to exit the nozzle. The trumpet portion is located between the orifice portion and the exit, where an outer surface of the trumpet portion is angled outwardly towards the exit. The trumpet portion includes a trumpet angle. The trumpet angle is measured at the outer surface of the trumpet portion, where the trumpet angle is less than ninety degrees. A trumpet height is also included, where the trumpet height is measured at the trumpet portion, and the trumpet height is greater than the orifice dimension.
