    Abstract: A detector for detecting the removal and/or insertion of a weapon out of and/or into a holster. The detector may transmit a message each time the weapon is removed from the holster. A recording system may receive the message and determine whether or not it will begin recording the data it captures. A detector may detect the change in a magnitude of an inductance and/or an impedance of a circuit to detect insertion and removal of the weapon into and out of the holster. The holster is configured to couple to the detector to position the detector to detect insertion and removal of the weapon. An adhesive tape may couple a detector to a holster.

    Abstract: Provided is a terminal assembly for an electrochemical battery comprising a terminal connector; a conductive flat-plate with an electrically conducting perimeter; an electrically insulating tape member; and a terminal bipolar electrode plate. The electrically insulating tape member is in between the conductive flat-plate and the terminal bipolar electrode plate such that the electrically insulating tape member does not cover the entire surface area of the conductive flat-plate. The foundation combines desirable features of conventional non-adjustable bed bases and adjustable bed bases. The motorized lift assembly pivots a lifter which has two curved portions which function to raise and lower a deck board to incline and lower the mattress. If desired, a second motorized lift assembly may be incorporated into a bedding foundation for use with another deck board.

    Abstract: A purge water management system for effectively eliminating the production of purge water when obtaining a groundwater sample from a monitoring well. In its preferred embodiment, the purge water management system comprises an expandable container, a transportation system, and a return system. The purge water management system is connected to a wellhead sampling configuration, typically permanently installed at the well site. A pump, positioned with the monitoring well, pumps groundwater through the transportation system into the expandable container, which expands in direct proportion with volume of groundwater introduced, usually three or four well volumes, yet prevents the groundwater from coming into contact with the oxygen in the air. After this quantity of groundwater has been removed from the well, a sample is taken from a sampling port, after which the groundwater in the expandable container can be returned to the monitoring well through the return system.

    Abstract: A clip-like, resilient wire stub retainer and handle opening spring adapted for secure positioning on the pivoting joint area of a wire cutting pliers having a pair of cutting edges extends along a first cutting edge of the pliers in an overlapping manner so as to engage and retain a severed wire stub portion in contact with a second cutting edge of the pliers until the pliers are released in preventing the wire stub from being projected away from the pliers. The resilient clip-like retainer/spring biases the pliers to the open configuration and includes a sheath-like covering on the wire engaging portion thereof to enhance its wire retention characteristics.

    Abstract: A game apparatus utilizes a rotatable wheel in combination with a playing table. Both the table and wheel include indicia from the standard fifty-two card playing deck. In one embodiment, a pair of concentric wheels are utilized with hands arranged on an outer, stationary wheel and individual card indicia arranged on an inner rotatable wheel. The rotatable wheel is divided into four concentric annular areas, which areas are subdivided into alternating 52 space and 13 space configurations. The stationary wheel is subdivided into 13 spaces each of which has indicia therein indicative of a class of playing card hands or an instruction. A second embodiment utilizes a single rotatable wheel with fifty-two segments representing the fifty-two cards of the standard playing card deck in combination with a horizontal play surface which includes fifty-two spaces arranged in rows according to suit and columns according to denomination.
