Abstract: A system and method for employ management that retrieves open task information for a team, retrieves availability and open task information for each of a plurality of team members, displays a first section of a page, the first section depicting summarized open task information for the team, concurrently displays a second section of the page, the second section depicting availability and open task information for each of the plurality of team members, receives a user input at an electronic device indicating that the user is selecting one of the plurality team members, in response to selecting one of the team members, displays a plurality of open tasks and a plurality of corresponding data fields, and reassigns one or more open tasks from one team member to another team member.

Abstract: Systems and methods consistent with certain embodiments of the invention relate to optimization of hierarchy screen refreshes in a graphical user interface. According to one exemplary embodiment, a method for refreshing a graphical user interface that includes a navigation hierarchy is disclosed. The method comprises storing a first representation of the navigation hierarchy at a front end system and a second representation of the navigation hierarchy at a back end system, the second representation being a reduced version of the first representation. The method receives a user interaction with the graphical user interface and sends user inputs to the back end system if the user interaction triggers an event. The method determines at the back end system an updated representation of the navigation hierarchy based on the user inputs, without requesting the first representation of the navigation hierarchy from the front end system.

Data objects of the set of data objects can be divided into segments according to selectable criteria. An interface unit may also be provided to interconnect the computing unit and the data object component. The interface unit may be arranged and constructed to include an inventory assignment of segments created in the data object component such that, in case of an assignment inquiry by the computing unit, an assignment of one or more segments being inquired for is carried out in the interface unit.
