  • Publication number: 20230073895
Abstract: The described invention provides an endovascular device comprising a tube comprising at least one side-hole, a first segment comprising a primary opening and a second segment. The side-hole and the first segment form a working lumen. The second segment forms a support lumen where the support lumen is curved to effect: (i) to provide stability to the working lumen of the endovascular device; (ii) to anchor the endovascular device within a blood vessel; (iii) to prevent kickback by resting on an arched anatomical structure; and (iv) to facilitate placement of a second endovascular device distally.

  • Patent number: 10143490
Abstract: A dural knife is provided with a handle, protector, and cutting element, wherein the protector is connected to one end of the handle and the cutting element connects to both the handle and the protector. More particularly, the dural knife has a protector shape and blade height that is adapted to safely raising the dura away from the cortex and making an incision in the dura while sliding the protector beneath the dura.

  • Publication number: 20170333674
Abstract: The described invention provides an endovascular device comprising a tube comprising a first end comprising a bifurcation and a second end comprising an opening. The bifurcation at the first end comprises a first branch and a second branch. The opening at the second end comprises a primary opening and a secondary opening. The first branch and the primary opening form a working lumen. The second branch and the secondary opening form a support lumen. The described invention further provides an endovascular device comprising a tube comprising a side-hole, a first segment comprising a primary opening and a second segment. The side-hole and the first segment form a working lumen. The second segment forms a support lumen.

  • Publication number: 20170333670
Abstract: The described invention provides an endovascular device including a tube containing a first end comprising a bifurcation and a second end comprising an opening. The bifurcation at the first end contains a first branch comprising a diameter of the first branch and a second branch comprising a diameter of the second branch, and the opening at the second end contains a primary opening comprising a diameter of the primary opening and a secondary opening comprising a diameter of the secondary opening. The first branch comprising the diameter of the first branch and the primary opening comprising the diameter of the primary opening form a working lumen comprising a diameter of the working lumen and a length of the working lumen, wherein the diameter of the working lumen comprises the diameter of the first branch and the diameter of the primary opening.

  • Publication number: 20170333237
Abstract: The described invention provides endovascular devices that share the following general features: a working segment, a support segment, a working lumen, a support lumen, a side hole, and an angled extension. A described endovascular device includes an outer support catheter and an inner catheter with a side hole optionally containing an angled extension disposed at least partially within the lumen defined by the outer support catheter. The inner catheter can be connected to sets of grips on the outer catheter and the inner catheter, which are used by the operator to rotate one catheter relative to the other so as to position the side hole or the angled extension of the inner catheter in the targeted vessel. A radiopaque marker or intravascular ultrasound can be used to identify the position of the distal side hole in vivo.

  • Patent number: 9775730
Abstract: The described invention provides an endovascular stent device comprising a tubular structure comprising a circumference; wherein a flow-diverting portion of the circumference is covered by a flow-diverting material; a length (l) from a proximal end to a distal end; and an inner diameter (d); wherein the flow-diverting portion of the circumference comprises a length (l?); and the flow-diverting portion of the circumference covers at least 1% to at least 100% of the endovascular stent device. According to some embodiments, the flow-diverting material is adapted to increase blood vessel wall adherence and minimize risk of an endoleak.
