  • Patent number: 11470962
Abstract: An exemplary storage system generally includes at least one back channel mountable along a support surface (e.g., a back wall of a closet, etc.). At least one wall or panel of the storage system is mountable (e.g., via a connector, etc.) along the back channel. The storage system may also generally include one or more of a hang rod, side bracket, shelf trim, end cup, support bracket, and/or shelf. The shelf may be supportable by the back channel, a pair of side brackets, and at least one support bracket. The side brackets may be mountable along sidewalls of the closet and/or to the at least one wall of the storage system that is mountable along the back channel. The hang rod may supportable beneath the shelf when first and second end portions of the hang rod are supported by respective first and second end cups.

  • Publication number: 20190059587
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a hang rod bracket may include a tab along an upper portion of the hang rod bracket. A shelf bracket may include a resiliently flexible tang along a lower portion of the shelf bracket. The resiliently flexible tang may be resiliently movable in a first direction when impinged by the tab of the hang rod bracket, such as during installation of the hang rod bracket onto the shelf bracket. The resiliently flexible tang may be resiliently movable in a second, opposite direction when the tab is not impinging the resiliently flexible tang, such as after the hang rod bracket has been fully installed onto the shelf bracket and the tab has been rearwardly moved beyond the resiliently flexible tang. The resiliently flexible tang may engage the tab to inhibit forward movement of the hang rod bracket along the shelf bracket.

  • Patent number: 9706859
Abstract: A hanger assembly for a wire shelf includes at least one bracket configured to releasably couple to wire members of the wire shelf. The bracket includes a hook-shaped end portion that defines a channel for receiving a first one of the wire members and an elbow portion that defines a bend for receiving a second one of the wire members to thereby releasably couple the bracket to the wire shelf. The bracket may further include a second end portion opposite the hook-shaped end portion and a U-shaped portion defined between the elbow portion and the second end portion such that the second end portion extends generally back towards the elbow portion and the hook-shaped portion. A rod may be coupled to the bracket. Also disclosed are saddles for coupling to the brackets and receiving a rod, and a rod joiner for coupling between rods.

  • Patent number: 9049931
Abstract: A shelving unit includes a wire shelf having multiple wire members arranged to form a platform, at least one bracket configured to releasably couple to wire members of the wire shelf, and a rod coupled to the bracket. The bracket includes a hook-shaped end portion and an elbow portion. The hook-shaped end portion of the bracket defines a channel that opens toward the elbow portion for receiving a first one of the wire members, and the elbow portion of the bracket defines a bend for receiving a second one of the wire members to thereby releasably couple (e.g., snap fit, etc.) the bracket to the wire shelf. The shelving unit may also include a stop for inhibiting movement of hangers along the rod and past the stop, and/or a connector for coupling the shelving unit to a rod of another shelving unit for allowing movement of hangers between the rods.
