  • Publication number: 20250336485
Abstract: A computerized system for prediction of antioxidant mixtures that is capable of receiving an initial dataset of a first set of deep eutectic solvents, create a predictive model according to the initial dataset; receiving an enhancement dataset and/or a second set of experimental deep eutectic solvents, modify the predictive model according to the enhancement dataset; modify the predictive model according to a comparison of a performance of the predictive model and a test dataset; generate functional deep eutectic solvents according to the predictive model, display the resulting mixtures, the resulting mixtures being DES integrating antioxidants mixtures, and, the resulting mixtures display improved antioxidant capabilities with respect to the corresponding (non-DES forms of the same) antioxidants.

  • Patent number: 10807039
Abstract: Contaminant treatment methods and systems are described. Methods utilize biodegradable, non-toxic materials that can carry one or more functionalities useful for the remediation of fluids such as liquid or gaseous waste streams, chemical spills, etc. The carrier materials carry one or more functional groups that can target particular contaminants of a fluid for removal and/or modification to a more benign form. Targeted contaminants can include components of gaseous and/or liquids such as, and without limitation, gaseous discharges including VOCs and potentially hazardous contaminants such as organophosphorous compounds.

  • Publication number: 20060223993
Abstract: Colorants are disclosed that exhibit high color strength, bright shades, and high thermal stability. Such compounds have found application as colorants for polyethylene terephthalate (“PET”). Potential end uses include disperse dyes, non-warping pigments, decolorizable colorants, and the like. Compounds and methods for synthesis include benzodifuranone related compounds, benzene centered lactones, benzene centered lactams; benzene-centered thiolactones; naphthalene-centered lactones; naphthalene-centered lactams; naphthalene-centered thiolactones; anthraquinone-centered lactones; anthraquinone-centered lactams; anthraquinone-centered thiolactones; anthracene-centered lactones; anthracene-centered lactams; anthracene-centered thiolactones; hetero-aromatic-centered lactones; hetero-aromatic centered lactams and hetero-aromatic centered thiolactone compounds, and the like. Furthermore, resins such as PET or other polymeric resins containing the compounds are disclosed.
