  • Publication number: 20250028766
Abstract: A data-driven, unsupervised system (“owner inference module”) has been created that collects information from different data sources and infers ownership of an asset by discerning signals conveying ownership and using them to identify likely owners of assets. The owner inference module creates a graph of direct and indirect relationships among the asset and entities based on the collected information (i.e., the data and metadata). The owner inference module processes the graph and accounts for the varying strengths of different ownership signals based on any one or more of observations, expert knowledge, and preferences. The owner inference module quantifies the different signals of ownership of an entity and aggregates these values into an ownership likelihood score.

  • Publication number: 20070268025
Abstract: A damage detection system includes a processor and a transmitter communicatively connected to the processor. The transmitter sends a signal to the processor and the processor is programmed to assign a spatial coordinate to the transmitter. The processor is further programmed to identify a transmitter location as damaged when the transmitter fails to send the signal. The damage detection system may analyze the damaged area and report potentially affected sub-systems to users of a machine or vehicle equipped with the damage detection system.

  • Patent number: 7277696
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel system, method and apparatus of delivering interactive voice response services in a more efficient manner over a network. The system provides for the placement of a subscriber station local 28 to the subscriber and a gateway protocol converter at the base station 40. The gateway protocol converter converts bandwidth-intensive audio messages into compact data messages, which upon transmission to the subscriber station 28 are converted back into audio messages. By using data messages instead of audio messages over the network, bandwidth is saved on the network for other traffic. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method for transmitting subscriber responses utilizing the system.

  • Publication number: 20070061109
Abstract: Systems and techniques to assess damage. A damage reporting module may allow a user to provide information indicative of a damage description and damage location. The damage reporting module may create a data object based on the information. The data object may be used to compare the damage event to one or more historical damage events. The data object may be used in an analysis module to automatically determine disposition information (e.g., repair information).

  • Patent number: 7117529
Abstract: An identification and authentication scheme maintains control relationships among identities in order to allow a user to dynamically grant or deny permission for a technical support representative to access the user's data, while allowing the user to retain ultimate control over access to the data. Interactions entered by the representative can be distinguished from those entered by the user, while execution paths for representative-entered interactions are configured so that, to an application, the representative-entered transactions appear substantially identical to user-entered transactions. Technical support representatives are thereby able to duplicate users' problems to enable diagnosis and resolution of problems without requiring users to reveal their passwords or login credentials.

  • Patent number: 7024689
Abstract: An access site allows a client application to access a server application on behalf of a subscriber who has an account at the client site. A client application registers with the access site and receives a certificate for the client application. A subscriber is directed to the access site upon an indication that she would like to use the features of the client application that integrate with the server application. The subscriber specifies access rights to the access site, and issues a validation token in association with the specified access rights. When the client site needs the server application to process subscriber data, it forwards the validation token to the access site, using the certificate. The access site validates this information, and where appropriate the server application processes the subscriber data and returns the results to the client application.

  • Publication number: 20050276903
Abstract: A system and method for providing information to a control system for regulating the formulation of a meat product is disclosed. The control system may receive information prescribing the formulation of the meat product, analyze characteristics of incoming constituent streams, and adjust the flows based on the final product formulation. The control system may further provide feedback regarding the final product formulation relative to the incoming constituent streams.

  • Publication number: 20050255207
Abstract: A system and method for reducing protein exudate on meat product. The system utilizes input hoppers and eliminates standing time for the meats. The elimination of a standing time for curing or protein extraction eliminates the ability for visible surface protein exudate to form.

  • Publication number: 20050255222
Abstract: A system and method wherein meat product constituents are mixed with high shear force over a small volume of constituent to combine the constituents is disclosed. The system utilizes mixing devices to apply work to incoming meat streams. The high shear force deforms and contorts the meats and allows other ingredients to be forced within the protein strands of the meats, and eliminates the need for a curing stage for protein extraction.

  • Publication number: 20050255221
Abstract: A system and method wherein meat product constituents are mixed under a high shear force to combine the constituents into a mixture having a stable protein matrix is disclosed. The system incorporates mixing devices in a housing into which the input streams are directed. The system then applies a high shear force over a small volume to mix the constituents together, thereby rapidly combining the meat constituents and other ingredients to rapidly form a stable protein matrix and eliminate the need for a curing stage for protein extraction.

  • Publication number: 20050255223
Abstract: A system for making processed meat products employing a feed-forward analysis wherein input streams are analyzed and their flow rates are controlled relative to each other. The system incorporates mixing devices in a housing through which the input streams are forced. The mixing devices provide high shear mixing and blending, and in some cases maceration and salt infusion for rapid protein extraction.
