  • Patent number: 11980495
Abstract: A system and method for enhancing color flow Doppler and pulsed wave Doppler ultrasound images acquired based on clinically-specific profiles of imaging parameters is provided. The method includes presenting selectable clinical objects at a display. Each of the selectable clinical objects may be associated with color flow Doppler and pulsed wave Doppler profiles. Each of the profiles may comprise imaging parameters for the associated clinical object. The method includes receiving a selection of one of the selectable clinical objects and retrieving the color flow Doppler and pulsed wave Doppler profiles associated with the selected clinical object. The method includes acquiring and presenting color flow Doppler ultrasound data based on the imaging parameters of the retrieved color flow Doppler profile. The method includes initiating a pulsed wave Doppler imaging mode, and acquiring and presenting pulsed wave Doppler ultrasound data based on the imaging parameters of the retrieved pulsed wave Doppler profile.

  • Publication number: 20240051337
Abstract: Wheel carrier apparatus for a motor vehicle including a wheel hub to which a vehicle wheel can be fastened, and an articulation apparatus for torque transmission having an articulation housing and an articulation drive element operatively connected to the articulation housing. The articulation housing is arranged coaxially to the wheel hub and is connected to the wheel hub in a rotationally fixed manner. The wheel carrier apparatus further includes a wheel carrier on which the wheel hub and the articulation housing are borne via a wheel bearing in a rotationally fixed manner. The wheel bearing includes an outer bearing ring fastened to the wheel carrier, an inner bearing ring divided in the axial direction, and multiple rolling bodies arranged radially between the inner bearing ring and the outer bearing ring. The divided inner bearing ring includes a first inner bearing ring element and a second inner bearing ring element.

  • Publication number: 20230407346
Abstract: The disclosure relates to the system comprising a combination of a primary bioreactor with a secondary bioreactor to convert a gaseous stream comprising CO and optionally H2, or CO2 and H2 to at least one target product. Bioreactors may be any combination of aerobic and anaerobic, batch and continuous. The bioreactors comprise fermenting microorganisms that may typically be bacterial or fungal.

  • Patent number: 11788103
Abstract: The disclosure relates to the combination of a primary fermentation that converts gas to acetate with a secondary fermentation that converts acetate to a target product. Preferably, the gas contains carbon dioxide, such that the disclosure enables the fixation of carbon dioxide into useful products. The fermentations may be any combination of aerobic and anaerobic, batch and continuous. The fermenting microorganisms may typically be bacterial or fungal.

  • Patent number: 10493508
Abstract: Metal work rolls texturized with engineered textures can impart desired impression patterns on metal strips. Engineered textures can be controlled with particularity to achieve desired surface characteristics (e.g., lubricant trapping, coefficient of friction, or surface reflectivity) on work rolls and metal strips, and to allow for impression patterns to be imparted on metal strips during high percentages of reduction of thickness (e.g., greater than about 5% or greater than about 15%, such as around 30%-55%). Engineered textures can be applied by focusing energy beams at specific points of an outer surface of a work roll to impart texture elements on the work roll. In some cases, an engineered texture element that can be used to generate a generally circular impression element can be generally elliptical in shape, having a length that is shorter than its width by a factor dependent on the reduction of thickness percentage.
