  • Publication number: 20240115810
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to medicament injection devices. An injection device includes: a movable dosage programming component comprising a rotary encoder system having a predefined angular periodicity, a sensor arrangement including a first optical sensor configured to detect movement of the movable dosage programming component relative to the sensor arrangement during dosing of a medicament, wherein the first optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a first frequency, a second optical sensor configured to detect movement of the rotary encoder system relative to the second optical sensor wherein the second optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a second frequency lower than the first frequency, and a processor arrangement configured to, based on the detected movement, determine a medicament dosage administered by the injection device.

  • Patent number: 9810514
Abstract: A reusable container for storing ammunition cartridges or similar shaped products comprises a base having a plurality of recesses, a first cover portion, and a second cover portion. A first link is pivotably connected to the base and the first cover portion. A second link is pivotably connected to the base and to the second cover portion. In a closed position, a first snap releasably retains the first cover portion over the base and a second snap releasably retains the second cover portion over the base. In an open position, the top and bottom surfaces of the container are configured so that multiple containers can be nested and stacked together.

  • Patent number: 7036650
Abstract: A sheet accepting apparatus comprises an inlet (210) for receiving one or more sheets. A transport system (217,350) extracts sheets from the inlet. A first detector (222) detects the passage of a foreign object with the transported sheet(s), the transport system being controllable to divert a detected foreign object to a foreign object collection position (215). One or more further detectors monitor sheets fed by the transport system. At least one store (205) is provided for storing accepted sheets. A controller is responsive to the detectors for controlling the transport system.

Date of Patent: May 2, 2006
Assignee: De La Rue International LTD

  • Patent number: 6557849
Abstract: Sheet handling apparatus includes a transport system for transporting sheets; a sensing system for monitoring the passage of sheets; and a controller. The controller determines, during a transaction involving the transport of one or a sequence of sheets, the existence of a jam condition from the sensing system. If a jam condition exists, the controller operates the transport system to attempt to release the jammed sheet. If at least three attempts to release the jammed sheet fail, the controller stops the current transaction.
