  • Publication number: 20240192198
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to biomimetic proteoliposomes, a method of making and a method of using the same. In particular, this disclosure provides proteoliposomes comprising one or more phospholipid carrier and one or more protein embedded in the one or more phospholipid carrier, wherein the one or more phospholipid carrier comprises a phospholipid composition with similar proportions of phospholipids as a naturally occurring cell type and a phospholipid concentration of about 1-50 mM; and wherein the one or more protein comprises a protein composition with similar proportions of proteins as the naturally occurring cell type.

Inventors: Christina M. Bailey-Hytholt, Daniel Zimmer
  • Patent number: 10253973
Abstract: A power plant is suggested with an additional heat transfer between the flue gas that flows through a flue gas line (5) and the feed-water in a feed-water line (19). The claimed arrangement of the first heat exchanger (13) upstream and adjacent to a precipitator (7) leads to a reduced space demand and optimizes dust precipitation as well as the pressure drop of the flue gas.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 17, 2011
Date of Patent: April 9, 2019
    Assignee: General Electric Technology GmbH
    Inventors: Volker Schüle, Daniel Zimmer
  • Patent number: 8946158
Abstract: The present invention provides peptides that are useful for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. The present invention also provides compositions and methods of treating gastrointestinal disorders and pharmaceutical compositions for accomplishing the same. In some embodiments, these pharmaceutical compositions include oral dosage forms.
