Patents by Inventor Daniel ZUCKERMANN

Daniel ZUCKERMANN has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20210057629
Abstract: The invention relates to a thermoelectric module for thermoelectric current generation, in particular in an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine, with a base plate and a plurality of thermocouples each with two legs, the thermocouples being electrically connected in series and mounted on the base plate. The invention provides that the base plate consists of a metallic material. This enables a low-cost production, allows substantially larger formats and makes the thermoelectric module mechanically much less sensitive than a conventional base plate made of ceramic. Furthermore, the invention includes a corresponding production method.

  • Publication number: 20200224293
Abstract: The invention relates to a resistor alloy (3) for an electrical resistor, in particular for a low-resistance current-measuring resistor, having a copper constituent, a manganese constituent and a nickel constituent. According to the invention, the manganese constituent has a mass fraction of 23% to 28%, while the nickel constituent has a mass fraction of 9% to 13%. The mass fractions of the alloy constituents are adjusted to one another in such a manner that, compared to copper, the resistor alloy (3) has a low thermal electromotive force at 20° C. of less than ±1??/K. The invention furthermore includes a component made from such a resistor alloy and a production method therefor.

  • Patent number: 10619232
Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting element (4, 5), in particular a screw (4) or a nut (5), for mechanically connecting components (1, 2), the connecting element (4, 5) consisting at least partially of a material with a mechanical tensile strength of at least 350 MPa. According to the invention, the material of the connecting element (4, 4?, 5, 8) has an electrical conductivity of at least 50% IACS. The invention also relates to a corresponding production method for a connecting element (4, 5) of this type.
