Abstract: A thickened oxidant composition is formulated to be easily and evenly applied to a vertical surface to provide consumer preferred cling to the vertical surface. The composition has a low relaxation constant. The composition is useful in cleaning toilet bowls and other hard surfaces. The composition can be applied in a stream, a spray, or an aerosol.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a viscoelastic oxidizing formulation comprising, in aqueous solution: an effective amount of an oxidizing compound; a thickening system which comprises (i) at least one alkali metal soap and (ii) a hydrotrope selected from the group consisting of amine oxides, betaines and mixtures thereof, each in amounts appropriate to create a viscoelastic composition having a Zero-shear viscosity in the range of 140-265 cP; a Stress ½ value greater than 10 Pa and a Relaxation constant greater than 0.05 second; and a buffer/electrolyte in an amount effective to stabilize the oxidizing compound. The oxidizing formulations may further be formulated to have an oxidant stable opacifier or colorant.

Abstract: Aqueous dispersions of silicone oils are prepared without the need for surfactants, solvents, hydrotropes or emulsifiers by employing water soluble and/or water dispersible polymers providing inventive compositions which exhibit a rheological Critical Strain value greater than zero and less than about 0.5. Disclosed according to the present invention are compositions and methods of use of the aqueous dispersions of silicone fluids for cleaning, preserving, protecting, and otherwise treating a variety of surfaces, including household surfaces, such as floors, counter tops, furniture, walls, and automotive surfaces, such as tires, rubber, vinyl, upholstery, fabric, plastic and general elastomer surfaces.
