Abstract: A closure device for a sports shoe, comprising a toothed band, rigidly coupleable to a first flap of the shoe and associatable slidingly with a base rigidly coupleable to a second flap of the shoe. The base comprises a first pawl-shaped element having a first tip suitable to engage selectively the toothed band to prevent its extraction in an opening direction of the shoe flaps. The free ends of the arms of a U-shaped lever are rotatably associated with the base at first pivots. A second pawl-shaped element is provided supported rotatably between the arms at a second pivot, axially offset with respect to the first pivots toward the toothed band. The second pawl-shaped element is provided with a second tip which can engage the toothed band.
