  • Patent number: 9346697
Abstract: A mould-supporting system for a machine for forming hollow glassware includes a supporting structure, and a first carriage and a second carriage, which are slidably mounted, respectively, on a first bar and a second bar of the supporting structure, and, moreover, are slidably mounted on a third bar of the supporting structure, common to the two carriages, the first and second carriages carrying, respectively, a first mould-carrier arm and a second mould-carrier arm. Mutual displacement of the first and second carriages is controlled between a position where they are set close to one another and a corresponding position where they are set apart. The first and second carriages have a first tubular portion that engages, respectively, the first and second bars via first sliding means, and a second tubular portion that engages the third bar via second sliding means. The second sliding means enable adjustment of the position of the second tubular portion in a direction transverse to the third bar.

  • Publication number: 20060059952
Abstract: In a system for supporting moulds in a machine for forming hollow articles made of glass, each mould is associated to an air-distribution body for distributing cooling air within passages made in the body of the mould. Each air-distribution body receives the cooling air from a supply system including a telescopic duct, which has its ends connected by means of ball-and-socket joints to a vertical inlet duct, fixed to a supporting structure, and to an end duct, fixed to the structure of the air-distribution body. The system envisages fast-coupling means for connection between the aforesaid end duct and the structure of the air-distribution body.

  • Publication number: 20060042912
Abstract: A system of the pusher type, for hollow glassware forming “I.S.” machine includes a plurality of pusher devices for transferring one or multiple articles from a first position, on a side of a moving conveyor to a second position on said conveyor, by means of an angular movement driven by a first electric motor. Each pusher device includes a gripping head movable mounted with a reciprocating motion upon the rotatable structure which performs the above-mentioned transfer angular movement. The reciprocating linear movement of the gripping head is driven by a second electric motor which is stationary mounted on a fixed support structure and which drives the gripping head through a mechanical transmission, which converts the rotating movement of the output shaft of the second electric motor in a linear movement of the gripping head, relative to the above-mentioned rotatable structure.

  • Publication number: 20040216491
Abstract: A machine for moulding hollow glass items comprises a basement (2′) supporting a plurality of modules (4′) placed side by side, having first and second devices (13, 14) supplying cooling air for parison and blow moulds. A first (VI, 16-22) and a second (V2, 26-31) air supply arrangement supply independently the first and second supply devices (13, 14). Both supply air flows (F1, 15, F2, 25, 25′) get independently through each module (4′) through the basement (2′) and within the module.
