  • Publication number: 20190166902
Abstract: An additive assembly for an e-vaping device includes an adsorbent material that includes adsorbed carbon dioxide. The additive assembly may be in fluid communication with a vaporizer assembly that forms a generated vapor. The adsorbent material may release the carbon dioxide into the generated vapor based on at least a portion of the generated vapor adsorbing on the adsorbent material. The additive assembly may include a flavor material including a flavorant. The adsorbent material may generate heat based on at least a portion of the generated vapor adsorbing on the adsorbent material, and the flavor material may release flavorant into the generated vapor based at least in part on the heat generated by the adsorbent material. One or more of the adsorbent material and the flavor material may be included in beads. Adsorbent material and flavor material may be included in multiple additive structures within the additive assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180368474
Abstract: A vapor cartridge for a non-combustible vaping device may be configured to receive a flavor cartridge, generate a vapor, and direct the generated vapor through the flavor cartridge to provide a flavored vapor. The flavor cartridge may include an instance of electrically conductive material extending at least partially around the flavor cartridge. The vapor cartridge may include an authentication assembly including a set of electrically conductive instruments may independently and directly contact the instance of electrically conductive material of the flavor cartridge inserted into the vapor cartridge, such that the electrically conductive instruments are electrically connected to each other through the instance of electrically conductive material of the flavor cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20070207239
Abstract: A flavor pouch includes a porous covering that encloses a carrier having a flavorant. The carrier may be solid or particulate. Flavorants may be one or more of tea, coffee, rose hips, honey, royal jelly, fruit extracts, mint, sweeteners, ginger, pepper extract, exotic flavors, ethnic flavors and the like. Where the carrier comprises a plurality of beads, the beads may have randomly dissolvable encapsulation to extend the time duration of flavor release. To use the flavor pouch, it is placed in the mouth and masticated or exposed to saliva to thereby release the flavorant.

  • Publication number: 20070122526
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a flavor pouch containing flavorant selected from one or more of tea, coffee, rose hips, honey, royal jelly, fruit extracts, mint, sweeteners, exotic flavors, and the like includes feeding a strip of fabric along a feed path, placing preselected amounts of flavorant material at spaced apart locations along the strip, forming flavor pouches by sealing portions of the strip together to enclose each preselected amount of flavorant material, and separating the flavor pouches from the strip. The pouches can have various shapes including crescent and oval shapes.
