  • Patent number: 9758598
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preparing a hydrogel type matrix comprising at least two contiguous zones with distinct stiffnesses, comprising a step to photopolymerize a solution comprising one or several polymerizable compounds and a photopolymerization initiator, by application of light onto the entire solution and at a different intensity in at least two zones of the solution, as a result of which a hydrogel matrix is obtained comprising at least two contiguous zones with distinct stiffnesses, characterized in that the photopolymerization step is done in the presence of a polymerization catalyst.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 29, 2012
Date of Patent: September 12, 2017
Assignees: COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE ET AUX ENERGIES ALTERNATIVES, CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE

  • Patent number: 5122597
Abstract: The present invention relates to the application, as the stationary phase in affinity chromatography for the purification of the FGF type growth factors, of the polymers or copolymers onto which --SO.sub.3 H and --SO.sub.3 M groups are randomly bound, groups in which M denotes a physiologically acceptable metal, as well as, preferably, --SO.sub.2 R groups, in which R denotes a radical obtained by removal of a hydrogen atom from the amino group of an amino acid or an amino acid derivative. The invention relates also to the obtaining of a purified bFGF or aFGF growth factor, or a mixture of these growth factors, consisting in carrying out an affinity chromatography on a resin such as defined hereinabove, by carrying out an elution with a neutral pH buffer having an ionic strength equivalent to that of a 0.15 M to 2.5 M NaCl solution.

  • Patent number: 4736019
Abstract: The process for the separation of antiVIII:C antibodies present in a liquid consists of contacting said liquid with a solid support constituted by a polymer or a copolymer having in its chain substitutable groups, whereof at least part is substituted by groups having an affinity for antiVIII:C antibodies and a selectivity for antiVIII:C antibodies compared with other immunoglobulins and then separating the liquid from the support on which have been adsorbed the antiVIII:C antibodies.Preferably use is made of polystyrene, to which have been fixed groups --SO.sub.3 Na and --SO.sub.2 Glu, --SO.sub.2 Threo, --SO.sub.2 OHPro or SO.sub.2 Lys. These supports can be used for ex-vivo purification in the column of the blood plasma of a type A hemophiliac.

  • Patent number: 4568725
Abstract: Product constituted by a polymer or a copolymer having in its chain substitutable groups to which are statistically fixed X and Y groups, in which X represents SO.sub.3 --R.sup.1, with R.sup.1 being a hydrogen atom or a physiologically acceptable metal, wherein the Y groups have the formula --SO.sub.2 --R.sup.2, in which R.sup.2 represents a radical derived from arginine or an arginine derivative, bonded by its amino function --NH-- to the radical --SO.sub.2 --.The invention also relates to a process for preparing such a product and to a process of the separation and purification of thrombin.
