  • Patent number: 4076470
Abstract: A planetary air motor with two internal gearings employing two internally toothed ring gears. One ring gear rotates and meshes with a first rim of a two-rim pinion, the other gear forms an intertooth space with a second rim of the pinion that is freely mounted on an eccentric journal of a pinion carrier and has radial through slots in the tooth spaces. The intertooth space is limited by a flange at one face and by a fixed washer at the other face of the fixed gear and is divided into two intertooth working zones A and B. Zone A communicates with the compressed air line and the other one (B) with the atmosphere. The pinion carrier has a main channel and an additional channel with an inside bore that is smaller than that of the main channel and which is isolated from the latter. The additional channel is disposed towards the periphery of an eccentric journal of the pinion carrier and communicates with the compressed air line and the intertooth working zone A through a slot in the pinion carrier.

  • Patent number: 4059743
Abstract: A torch with a turbulized supply of a plasma forming gas comprises an electrode having a high-melting insert and a flat end face, and a nozzle with an internal surface having two mated portions: one cylindrical and one tapering; and the diameter of the electrode flat end face amounts essentially to 0.4-0.5 diameter of the electrode proper and the radius of conjugation of the nozzle cylindrical and tapering portions is equal essentially to the length of its cylindrical portion. Due to such a design, the inventive torch features a long service life of both the electrode and the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 3976481
Abstract: A wear-resistant composite material incorporating a refractory chemical compound in particulate form and an alloy matrix. The particles contain between 7 and 30 wt.% of chromium, between 30 and 40 wt.% of boron, the balance being titanium, have a size between 0.3 and 2 mm and are present in an amount between 40 and 80 vol.%, the balance being the alloy matrix. The material has an improved resistance to wear and consists of comparatively cheap and widely abundant ingredients.

  • Patent number: 3944780
Abstract: A power supply source is provided for use in apparatus for the welding of workpieces. It contains several parallel - connected charge-discharge circuits connected to electrodes via a choke or resistor, each of these circuits consists of storage capacitors, elements for the switching-over of the capacitor discharge and isolating diodes with common-polarity electrodes of said diodes being interconnected and connected to the electric network via a thyristor. Such arrangement allows generating current pulses of a complex shape, including nearly rectangular shape, and provides for controlling welding thermal cycles over a wide range. The arrangement is also of a small size and weight.
