Abstract: A system and a method use a list of audio media to create a list of audiovisual media. A user of a computing device may create, may access, may edit and/or may use a list of audio media objects, such as, for example, an audio playlist. The the user may request generation of a list of audiovisual media objects which correspond to the audio media objects in the list of audio media objects. The user may request generation of the list of audiovisual media objects using a user interface on the computing device. The list of audio media objects may be provided to a list conversion engine which may discover, create, and/or obtain audiovisual media objects which correspond to the audio media objects in the list of audio media objects.

Abstract: A system and a method provide an inter-application communication framework. A first application executed on a first device may establish communication and/or interaction with a second application executed by a second device and compatible with the first application. The first device may be connected to the second device by a network which enables the communication between the first application and the second application. The first device may support different application frameworks relative to the second device, and the first application and the second application may exist in different application frameworks. The first device may query an application knowledge repository to determine one or more compatible applications which exist in an application framework supported by the second device. In response, the first device may obtain identifiers which may identify the compatible applications in the application framework supported by the second device.

A user browses, searches, manages and/or consumes content from multiple storage devices and servers in the network. The user may view a visual representation of active media connections between the available servers and/or the available rendering devices connected to the network.

Abstract: A system and a method transfer media content from a mobile device to a home network. A media application on the mobile device may be enabled to share media content with rendering devices in the home network. A user may enable and disable transfer of the media content from the media application to a target rendering device. Further, the media application may indicate visually the target rendering device and whether the media content is currently being transferred. Still further, the user may select a new target rendering device. Moreover, the media application may indicate network errors or other problems which may prevent the rendering of the media content and may enable the user to correct the network errors or the other problems.
