The middle frame has at least one circular opening, and is hingedly connected to both the front frame and rear frame. The rear frame has at least one back clip that attaches onto the shopping cart seat frame. The grocery cart cup holder can fold flat to enable use of the grocery cart seat, and the cup holder can fold up to provide a cup holder that consists of the circular opening at an elevated position working in tandem with the grocery cart seat to create a cup holder.
