  • Publication number: 20230217915
Abstract: A lightweight barrier insert door is attached to an enclosure, such as a shipping container that holds a product to be fumigated, such as during transport of the product to a new location. The barrier insert door fits within the doorway of the container to provide a sealed barrier to mitigate leakage of a fumigant from the interior of the container. The barrier also includes air intake ports to maintain the structural integrity of the container and to provide ambient air to the interior. Additional ports allow for connection for fumigant entry, monitoring, and/or an exhaust hose to be connected to or through the barrier for the fumigation process. The barrier can be height adjustable to account for shipping containers of various sizes and can be connected with fumigant exhaust and release systems for the safe release thereof.

  • Patent number: 11615698
Abstract: An emergency responder alert assembly includes an alert housing that is mountable at a location which is associated with a residence such that the alert housing is visible to emergency responders. A plurality of light emitters is provided and each of the light emitters is coupled to the alert housing for visually alerting the emergency responders that the residence is the location to which the emergency responders have been dispatched. A pendant actuate unit is movably integrated into a pendant and each of the light emitters is turned on when the pendant actuate unit is actuated by the user. A desktop actuate unit is in remote communication with the plurality of light emitters and each of the light emitters is turned on when the desktop actuate unit is actuated by the user.

  • Patent number: 11556726
Abstract: Provided is a dynamic label for a product. Data that is generated at different nodes in the supply chain can be linked to a unique identifier associated with the product. At a particular node, the dynamic label may be added to the product, container, or package. The dynamic label may include a Near Field Communication (“NFC”) tag with a value that can be read using a user device. The dynamic label may be connected to the unique identifier. When the product reaches a consumer, the consumer may use a device to read the dynamic label, and pass the value from the dynamic label to a host. The host may identify the connection between the dynamic label and the unique identifier, and may provide the data, that is generated by different nodes in the supply chain and that is associated with the unique identifier, to the user device.

  • Patent number: 11475494
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to create apparel and other goods that provide embedded verification of a transferrable non-fungible token (“NFT”). For instance, a system may identify a good with a visualization of an NFT artifact, and a tag that is encoded with a unique network identifier. The system may obtain data for a profile of a user that purchases the good, may link the data from the profile of the user to the unique network identifier, may record the user as an owner of a NFT created for the NFT artifact on a blockchain, and may link the NFT to the unique network identifier. The system may present a website that is dynamically populated with the data from the profile and ownership information recorded with the NFT on the blockchain in response to a request from a device that reads the unique network identifier from the tag.

  • Publication number: 20090072114
Abstract: A Christmas tree stand includes a spike that is driven into the lower end of a Christmas tree trunk; a ball joint is removably attached to the spike that is releasably gripped by a ball clamp positioned within a tree support housing. A user positions the tree in a vertical orientation and pivots a lever on a side of the housing to lock the ball clamp against the ball joint thereby anchoring the tree in the selected position.

  • Publication number: 20070117436
Abstract: A meter socket bypass disconnect device for disconnecting service using a bypass meter socket. The meter socket bypass disconnect device includes a housing, a disconnect system for interfacing with a meter socket, an indication system for indicating power phase and load status, and a switching system for moving the meter socket bypass disconnect device between an open load position and a closed load position. The disconnect system is further adapted to make load and break load on a bypass meter socket without the use of the meter bypass lever. The disconnect system, indication system, and switching system are containable or partially containable within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20070062883
Abstract: An apparatus for deodorization of livestock waste includes a tank containing livestock waste to be deodorized; a source of atmospheric air; a source of ultraviolet light; and a magnet. Air from the source of atmospheric air is passed by the source of ultraviolet light while simultaneously being exposed to magnetic flux from the magnet, thereby creating a plurality of multivalent oxygen ion allotropes. The apparatus delivers the atmospheric air containing multivalent oxygen ion allotropes to the livestock waste, thereby reducing odor. A method for deodorizing livestock waste, has the steps of: pumping waste from a holding tank; exposing atmospheric air to ultraviolet light and magnetic flux, thereby creating a plurality of multivalent oxygen ion allotropes; exposing the waste to the air containing the plurality of multivalent oxygen ion allotropes; and returning the waste to the holding tank.

  • Patent number: 4464434
Abstract: Microcapsules having a core of an alkaloidal material surrounded by a protective cross-linked polymeric wall are disclosed. The microcapsules are produced by intermixing a polymeric wall material with a liquid vehicle to form a solution thereof as a continuous first phase, and mixing the solution with an alkaloidal material. The produced admixture is agitated to disperse the alkaloidal material as a plurality of discrete minute core material entities in the first phase, and thereafter, phase separation is induced to separate the polymeric wall material from the liquid vehicle so that the wall material forms embryonic sheaths about the core material entities. The polymeric wall material is then cross-linked to form protective walls around each of the core material entities.
