Patent number: 12360927Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing duplicated registers for access by initiators across multiple semiconductor dies are disclosed. A system includes multiple initiators on multiple semiconductor dies of a chiplet processor. One of the semiconductor dies is the master die, and this master die has copies of registers which can be accessed by the multiple initiators on the multiple semiconductor dies. When a given initiator on a given secondary die generates a register access, the register access is routed to the master die and a particular duplicate copy of the register maintained for the given secondary die. From the point of view of software, the multiple semiconductor dies appear as a single die, and the multiple initiators appear as a single initiator. Multiple types of registers can be maintained by the master die, with a flush register being one of the register types.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2024Date of Patent: July 15, 2025Assignees: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., ATI Technologies ULCInventors: Haikun Dong, Kostantinos Danny Christidis, Ling-Ling Wang, Minhua Wu, Gaojian Cong, Rui Wang

Patent number: 12355956Abstract: A cloud-based extended reality (XR) system includes a server configured to encode a set of frames each associated with an XR scene to be displayed. To encode the set of frames, the server estimates a total number of encoded output bits for the set of frames based on a set of quantization parameters (QPs). The set of QPs includes a corresponding QP for each frame of the set of frames and one or more predetermined relationships between the corresponding QPs. The server then compares the estimated total number of encoded output bits to a target frame size threshold. Based on the estimated total number of encoded bits being outside the target frame size threshold, the server updates the set of QPs so as to maintain the predetermined relationships between the QPs.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2023Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: GOOGLE LLCInventors: Danny Hong, Zhuo Chen

Patent number: 12352533Abstract: Use of a muzzle velocity detector with a display allows for a rapid calculation of a second shot firing solution based on a first shot analysis. A doppler radar emitter and detector is located in a housing. The housing has a mount that allows it to be coupled to a hand guard on a rifle. This allows for the muzzle velocity to be detected very close to the end of the barrel. Information about the bullet can be preloaded into a ballistics calculator. The ballistics calculator can be integrated with the muzzle velocity detector or coupled wirelessly to it. The impact location of the first shot is identified and that “drift” is used with muzzle velocity and many other factors to quickly provide a compensation to be used with the sight to ensure the second shot is more accurate.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2024Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: Optex Systems, Inc.Inventor: Danny Schoening
