  • Publication number: 20220298781
Abstract: A method and kit for installing siding panels to an exterior surface of a structure. The method and kit are directed to the positioning of a mending plate between the ends of horizontally adjacent siding panels. Lines of an adhesive are applied to the mending and the mending plate is disposed approximately midway between the ends of each of the adjacent first and second siding panels. Pressure is applied to the ends of the siding panels that are disposed over the respective portions of the mending plate thereby uniformly spreading the adhesive across the back surface of the siding panel and the mending plate to enhance the chemical bond of the adhesive once fully cured.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 10941576
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a siding member for covering an exterior of a structure. The siding member comprises a siding panel having a nail hem and a rear face, wherein the rear face is generally shaped to provide a receptacle capable of retaining a liquid material. In addition, the siding member includes an extension located at an upper edge of the siding panel and a channel located at a lower edge of the siding panel. The channel is of a shape and size to receive the extension of an adjacent panel. A stiffening material is poured or sprayed into the receptacle generally filling the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20200324534
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multi-layer polymer panel resistant to heat build-up and color fading. The panel includes a first exterior facing, polymer layer formulated from polyvinylidene difluoride that is in the range of about 90-99% opaque. In addition, a second layer is formulated from polyvinyl chloride and additives. A third layer is positioned beneath the middle layer wherein the third layer is comprised of a formulation in the range of about 60-70% by weight polyvinyl chloride and in the range of about 20-30% by weight poly(a-methylstyrene-styrene-acrylonitrile).

  • Publication number: 20080289244
Abstract: The present invention provides for a variety of soft plastic fishing lures having an enlarged soft plastic attachment as part of the leading edge of the bait. The soft plastic attachment, preferably disk shaped and concave, provides for unique back and forth swimming motion in the leading edge of the bait and, when fished on the surface, creates a wake of water and produces vibration.
