Abstract: This is a sound barrier fence adapted to reduce the noise level in a yard which is adjacent a freeway for example. The fence includes two spaced apart upright panels of a dense material such as concrete. The space between the panels which may be three to four inches in width, for example, is filled with a foam insulation material. Posts are provided to hold the upright members in place and rail caps and post caps are provided to keep water out of the interior of the fence.
