Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product that aggregates sample data regarding a plurality of factors associated with work scheduling, employee compensation, and employee turnover; performs iterative analysis on the sample data using machine learning to construct a predictive model; populates, using the predictive model, a database with predicted values of employee turnover in relation to work scheduling and employee compensation; converts the predicted values of employee turnover in the database into percentages of observed values of employee turnover for a selected group of employers over a specified time period to create indices of employee turnover; and rank orders the selected employers according to their indices of employee turnover.

Abstract: A surgical simulation camera scope is provided. The surgical simulation camera scope comprises a lens mount with a lens and a sensor mount with an image sensor disposed between the sensor mount and the lens mount. The arrangement of the lens mount and the sensor mount ensures that the location of the sensor is maintained within the depth of focus of the lens while not damaging the sensor.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes an access management system receiving a signed message that is associated with a non-fungible digital asset and that includes a non-fungible digital asset identifier and a nonce. The non-fungible digital asset may be configured to provide access to an access-restricted resource. Based on the non-fungible digital asset identifier included in the signed message, the access management system may access a distributed record that is configured to store ownership information associated with the non-fungible digital asset. Based on the signed message and the ownership information stored in the distributed record, the access management system may verify that a user of the non-fungible digital asset is authorized to access the access-restricted resource.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an exemplary apparatus, system, and methods (e.g., Tactical Passive RFID transponder gloves with Morphological Actuation) comprising a glove made predominately of a resistive fabric that varies resistance per degree of deformation; comprising near field communication RFID tag readers, and a controller coupled to the glove to evaluate the varied resistance. A method of classifying RFID tags is also disclosed.

Abstract: A portable storage apparatus that attaches to a chair allows for the storage, organization, charging, and sanitation of grooming equipment. The storage apparatus includes a body defining a central cavity and having an opening to access the central cavity. At least a portion of the body is magnetic. The storage apparatus further includes a handle coupled to the body, a plurality of wheels coupled to the body, a movable lid coupled to the body and configured to cover the opening to the central cavity, a divider within the central cavity, a rechargeable battery attached to or integrated into the body, and a securement feature for securing the storage apparatus to a chair. The storage apparatus may further include a charging port and a sanitizer for respectively charging and sanitizing grooming tools.

Abstract: Brugada syndrome and related forms of ion channelopathies, including ventricular asynchrony of contraction, originate in the region near the His bundle or para-Hisian regions of the heart. Manifestations of Brugada syndrome can be corrected by delivering endocardial electrical stimulation coincident to the activation wave front propagated from the atrioventricular (AV) node early enough to compensate for the conduction problems that start in those regions. The stimulation can include waveforms of the same polarity delivered to a site within the region near the His bundle or para-Hisian regions of the heart associated with a low cardiac electrical asynchrony level or can include at least two single-phased superimposed waveforms of opposite polarity delivered through a pair of pacing electrodes relative to a reference electrode, which can be delivered to any site within the region near the His bundle or para-Hisian regions. Defibrillation can also be used to terminate an arrhythmia.

Abstract: Provided is a method for blending of agricultural product utilizing hyperspectral imaging. At least one region along a sample of agricultural product is scanned using at least one light source of different wavelengths. Hyperspectral images are generated from the at least one region. A spectral fingerprint for the sample of agricultural product is formed from the hyperspectral images. A plurality of samples of agricultural product is blended based on the spectral fingerprints of the samples according to parameters determined by executing a blending algorithm.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for authenticating a user. A first request is received to set up authentication information with respect to a user, wherein the first request specifies a type of information to be used for future authentication of the user. It is determined whether the type of information related to the user poses risks based on a reverse information search result. The type of information for being used for future authentication of the user is rejected when the type of information is determined to pose risks.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for processing and using signals transmitted by a device, e.g., a low cost beacon transmitter device, to facilitate making location determinations with regard to the transmitting device and/or making a decision of when or how to use location information generated based on received signals are described. In accordance with some features the processing performed on the received signal strength measurements is based on whether or not the device from which the signals are received is in motion. The size of a sample period used as a processing window when determining device location is based, in some embodiments, on the rate of motion. When and/or how to use location determinations are performed is also based on motion in some embodiments. Machine learning updates of location determination parameters, based on received signals, are disabled when the signals are from devices determined to be in motion.

The user device may provide credentials of the user and a secure input of the user to the network device based on invoking the guest mode, and may receive an identity service and an emergency service for the user when the secure input is authenticated by the network device. The user device may associate, via the identity service, the user with the user device to enable the user to utilize the emergency service, and may provide, via the emergency service, one or more emergency notifications. The user device may receive an indication of the user exiting the guest mode, and may remove the credentials of the user from a memory based on the indication.

Abstract: A rack mountable bracket is described. The bracket is mountable to a rack configured for mounting equipment. The rack is also configured according to a rack standard (e.g., EIA-310) that specifies how rails of the rack are disposed, one rail to another, and how a strip of holes disposed along a length of each rail is spaced, one hole to another. In one or more implementations, the bracket includes a pair of mounting edges for mounting the bracket to a mounting pair of the rails using hole strips of the mounting pair of rails. The bracket also includes an equipment mounting rail having a hole strip disposed along a length of the rail with holes spaced according to the rack standard. The equipment mounting rail is disposed between the mounting edges, such that when the bracket is mounted to the mounting pair of rails the bracket is horizontally oriented.
