  • Patent number: 11239988
Abstract: Methods and systems for synchronizing a slave device with a master device are disclosed. The method includes arranging a bitstream of data into a two-dimensional frame having a plurality of columns and rows. The method further includes searching the columns for an occurrence of an 8-bit static sync word having a constant sync value. The total number of columns of the two-dimensional frame is equal to the number of columns of a group containing the 8-bit static sync word. The method also includes re-aligning the two-dimensional frame by shifting and re-numbering the column having the 8-bit static sync word to column zero. The method also includes determining the number of rows of the re-aligned frame and synchronizing the slave device with the master device based on the re-aligned frame and the number of columns and rows of the two-dimensional frame.

  • Patent number: 9548874
Abstract: A device may receive a content distribution network (CDN) routing table from a topology manager; receive a request, from a device in either of a redirect CDN or a domain name system (DNS), to identify a target CDN for sending content to a user device; perform a lookup in the CDN routing table, based on information provided by the device and CDN selection policies, to select the target CDN; obtain an identifier corresponding to the target CDN as a result of performing the lookup; and provide the identifier to the device.

  • Patent number: 9379935
Abstract: A device may receive a packet, determine whether the received packet is encapsulated with a first header associated with a cached routing service, and determine whether the received packet is to be provided with the cached routing service when the received packet is not encapsulated with the first header associated with the cached routing service. In response to determining that the received packet is to be provided with the cached routing service, the device may encapsulate the received packet with a second header associated with the cached routing service, send the encapsulated packet toward a destination of the packet, and store the encapsulated packet in a buffer in a memory.

  • Patent number: 9277025
Abstract: A content server farm in a host network may be configured to receive a message indicating that content is to be downloaded to a content consumer device in the host network different from a partner network. A first copy of the content is stored at an originating content provider device in the partner network. A path for downloading the first copy of the content from the originating content provider device in the partner network to the content consumer device in the host network includes peering points that connect the host network to the partner network.

  • Patent number: 9003442
Abstract: A method, performed by a computer device, may include receiving content from a first local government entity; associating a virtual channel identifier with the received content; and transmitting the received content and the virtual channel identifier on a shared local government channel, wherein the shared local government channel includes content received from a second local government entity.

  • Publication number: 20130169815
Abstract: A system and method for authenticating an operator may include a server configured to receive a request to access an enclosure, wherein the request may include at least one enclosure identification and at least one operator identification. At least one ticket associated with the enclosure identification may be identified. The server may determine whether the at least one ticket is associated with the at least one operator identification and transmit instructions to the enclosure in response to determining whether the at least one ticket is associate with the at least one operator identification.

  • Patent number: 7595744
Abstract: An offset correction circuit examines a residue signal of a stage of a pipeline analog to digital converter (ADC) to determine whether a parameter which could cause offset error, needs to be adjusted. In an embodiment, the parameter is adjusted until a maximum range of the residue signal equals an expected range. In the described examples, the adjusted parameters include timing offset error (when components of an ADC sample the input signal at different time instances) and a voltage offset error (the threshold voltage at which a sub-ADC in a stage the generated sub-code changes to a next value).
