The partition plate is located between the first packaging body and the second packaging body. The flange overlaps the partition plate and extends beyond an edge of the partition plate. The partition plate fits with the first packaging body and the second packaging body to form mutually independent cavities on two sides of the partition plate.

The first separation piece includes a first substrate layer and a first sealing material layer located on a surface of the first substrate layer. The electrochemical device satisfies: 1.2?Fs11/F11?15, where F11 is a peel force between the first sealing material layer and the first substrate layer, and Fs11 is a peel force between the first housing and the first sealing material layer. This arrangement can reduce the risk of bursting the seal interface when the electrochemical device is impacted such as dropped, thereby improving the safety and reliability of the electrochemical device.

With a first accommodation portion disposed in the electrochemical device, a specific accommodation space is provided for a bend portion of a first tab, thereby avoiding a need to additionally increasing space for accommodating the bend portion, where the space is originally intended for accommodating the electrode assembly. This effectively saves the space occupied by the tab in the packaging shell, reduces the size of the electrochemical device, and improves an energy density of the electrochemical device.
