Abstract: Provided is a composition comprising aflibercept and a variant thereof, wherein the variant is a truncation variant with a truncated VEGF binding portion of aflibercept, and wherein the content of the truncation variant is less than or equal to about 20% by mass percentage. Also provided is a pharmaceutical formulation comprising the composition. Further, provided are a method for detecting the variant and use of the variant in quality inspection or quality control of an aflibercept-containing product.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for generating a data authentication key for allowing data communication over a wireless channel between a first mobile device and a second mobile device, comprising: associating said mobile devices to each other by means of said key. The invention comprises: allowing a shared physical or mechanical condition to be applied generally simultaneously upon said devices; detecting, in said first mobile device, said condition; defining, in said first mobile device, said authentication key based on the detected condition; and transmitting said key to said second mobile device. The invention also relates to a mobile device configured for generating a data authentication key for allowing data communication over a wireless channel to a further mobile device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a haptic navigation system, configured for providing a haptic instruction to a user, and to a method for providing a haptic instruction to a user. The haptic navigation system comprises a navigation module comprising a route calculation unit, configured for calculating at least one route for the user to go to a predetermined destination, and a user interaction unit, configured for capturing at least one input parameter from the user, and a feedback unit configured for receiving an instruction sent from the navigation module and for converting the instruction received into a haptic instruction such that the user find the correct route. In this way, a haptic navigation system is provided which is reliable, cost-effective to realize and can easily be integrated into existing navigation systems while at the same time making it possible to get rid of displays or voice recognition in navigation applications.

Abstract: A washing system and to a method for washing clothing is disclosed. In some embodiments, the washing system comprises: a washing unit for washing clothing items, a tag connected to a clothing item (the tag being configured for transmitting one or more predetermined parameters associated with the clothing item), and a computing unit for receiving the one or more predetermined parameters transmitted from the tag. The computing unit is configured to send to the washing unit an instruction in dependence on the parameters received from tags attached to clothing situated in the washing unit such that a setting of the washing unit is adjusted for washing the clothing items situated in the washing unit. In this way, a possibility is provided for automatically getting the information about whether correct colours are combined, whether the washing temperature and other parameters are correct, and how many clothes are inside the washing unit.
